These two sweet pups are looking for forever homes. They were found in a canyon and have been brought to good health, but not vaccinated or altered yet. They're roughly a year old. One female and one male. They are not in our care, but please reach out to us or Pattie (619) 507-0772 for more information on getting these dogs. Open to rescue help too as the family caring for them have young children and medical issues needing their attention currently.

Employee Spotlight!! Have you met our hospital security kitty yet!? This is Ares, he is our youngest employee to date at only 8 months old. He monitors all that come in and helps to make us all feel safe. He often sleeps on the job but he claims he is on his lunch break. He requires multiple belly rubs and the occasional snack. Make sure to say hi next time you come in to see us!

As some of you may know, I’m having to take some time off to tend to my health. I’m struggling with a nasty flare of my Crohn’s disease. Luckily I have a great team of (furry) nurses, and husband that are taking good care of me. I appreciate all of your understanding and support during this tough time.

If your kitchen looks like mine today, it can be hard to say no. Remember that not all human food is safe for our fur kids. If you want to share, try sticking to single ingredients like sweet potato, cooked carrots, green beans and broccoli, and even a some turkey without the skin or bones. Keep it to small amounts to avoid upset tummy.
