💙 Celebrating Frodo’s Incredible Journey 💙

Meet Frodo! 🐾 Diagnosed with T-cell lymphoma in July, he faced the challenge head-on with strength and resilience. He started treatment on a single-agent protocol, and we’re thrilled to share that he officially graduated on October 29, 2024! 🎉

Not only did Frodo take on each treatment like a champ, but he also gained a little extra fluff along the way (a chunky pup is a happy pup, right? 😉)!

We want to send a HUGE thank you to our amazing medical oncology team. Your expertise, dedication, and compassionate care made all the difference in Frodo’s treatment and recovery. We couldn’t have done this without you! 🙏💙

🌟 Celebrate Maverick's Incredible Resilience! 🎉

Meet Maverick! 🐾 Diagnosed with B cell lymphoma in May 2023, and facing a relapse after six months of chemotherapy, Maverick never gave up. His journey has been filled with courage, determination, and strength, and by the end of September 2024, he proudly graduated after completing his second round of CHOP chemotherapy. 🎓💙

Maverick wore his cap and gown proudly, showing off his incredible achievement with a big, happy tail wag! 🎉📸 It’s a moment of pure triumph!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing medical oncology team for their unwavering support and dedication in helping Maverick through his battle. We couldn't be more grateful for your expertise and compassion. 🙏💖

Bowski was one of our superstar patients at VCA Animal Specialty Group! Unlike many pets, Bowski loved coming to the vet, and his visits also brightened our days. Whether seeing Surgery, Internal Medicine, or Neurology, he was adored by everyone in the hospital 💗. Bowski's journey with us began in Internal Medicine, where he saw Dr. Hung for chronic bronchitis. During an oral exam just before a CT scan, we discovered a tumor on his thyroid and a partially collapsed lung. Despite these challenges, Bowski was a cancer survivor! Dr. Jones from Surgery successfully removed the thyroid carcinoma. However, Bowski faced further diagnoses of GOLPP (Geriatric Onset Laryngeal Paralysis Polyneuropathy) and paraparesis. Bowski's mom, was able to spend an extra four precious months with him before he crossed the rainbow bridge. His last week was filled with joy as they checked off items from Bowski's bucket list: car rides, beach trips, picnics, all the sniffs around the grass, eating cake, and indulging in In-N-Out Burger 🍔with a strawberry milkshake. Bowski received many visitors and made one final visit to the hospital where we showered him with love, fed him an Egg McMuffin, and said our goodbyes. Watch the attached video his family shared with us. On his last day, Bowski enjoyed a beautiful, final swim, and moments before he crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈, he delighted in chocolate and cake 🎂. The sun was shining, birds were chirping, and butterflies and dragonflies danced around him. It was a devastating yet beautiful moment. Bowski touched everyone's heart he met, and he was truly the best boy ever. We will forever miss his happy face and the joy he brought to our hospital. Rest in peace, sweet Bowski 🐾.
