Bravado Farms is seeking a part-time instructor to join our team in the riding school! We offer good pay, safe lesson horses, and amazing customers. If you have a hunter/jumper background, passion for teaching beginners through intermediate riders, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for someone that’s passionate, a self starter, organized, friendly, hardworking, reliable and has good communication skills.

Position is 3 afternoons per week and Saturday/Sundays. Approximately 20 hours per week with the opportunity to grow.

Possibility to ride and do more teaching when we are away at shows for the right candidate.

We are located in the 4S Ranch area of San Diego, about 12 minutes away from Del Mar Horsepark.

Lioness is a lovely 14 yr old 16 hand warmblood mare. Having a fantastic career with Children’s Hunters, Junior Hunters, Derby wins and most recently finishing Reserve Overall in the 15/u 3’3” Small Jr Hunter Finals - West, she is ready to step down and bring her winning ways to the to the 2’6” and under ring. Absolutely on auto pilot and will happily take care of everything for your rider. Auto lead changes, big step, find the distances on her own - all you have to do is steer! Comfortable to sit on with a soft jump and snaffle mouth. The good kind of quiet where you aren’t going to wear yourself out keeping her going. She is happy to teach a novice rider how to jump or help a Nervous Nelly find their confidence. Trail rides, great at the shows, easy in the barn. This girl is the total package!
