Jeri is tall, dark, handsome and has that Golden Retriever boyfriend vibe everyone is looking for. With Grand Prix mileage and even a 5 Bar win at 1.80 under his belt, he has the all experience and confidence needed to show you the ropes from the .80’s through the 1.30’s. He is trustworthy, reliable and loves his job - basically all the qualities that make him perfect to bring home to meet the parents! Gives you a great feeling to ride and all the confidence to make you feel like you can conquer whatever the task is at hand. He loves long walks on the trail. Excellent flat work, very rideable and could also cross over into the EQ ring. He has a soft mouth and is comfortable to ride. No prep needed at the shows and has yet to meet a jump he didn’t like. Has it rained for a week and you weren’t able to ride? Shown for the past 2 weeks straight? Doesn’t make any difference to Jeri, he comes out exactly the same everyday no matter what.

Feeling left out watching the Pony Finals livestream? Looking for something to get your kid to the ring in the 2025 Green Larges? Well let me introduce you to Casual Friday!

7 year old 14.1 hand Welsh/Hanoverian gelding.
This handsome guy lives up to his name. Don’t like getting to the show at 6am to lunge or hack in the ring? Lucky for you, neither does Sonny. No lunges, no early morning hacks and you can save all your money on prep products. This boy is always stall-to-ring ready. Have a kid that is nervous, clampy and has a seat that lights everything on fire? Sonny is the man for the job! Speedometer is always set to the perfect cruising speed.

He has spent the past 3 years showing in the Short Stirrup, Green Rider and Children’s Pony divisions. He is ready to strut his stuff for his 2025 Green division debut! Spooky pony derby jumps are no problem either…he’s seen them all during his eventing days. He loves to jump and is always happy to help his rider out with even the trickiest of distances. No is not in his vocabulary! As much as he would love to make his way to the division ring, he is also very content teaching the littles on the lunge line or navigating their way around the ring by themselves for the first time. Comfortable, soft mouth, and very friendly in the barn. Has a big step that will easily get you down the lines and plenty of scope for the job. Very sound, great X-rays and vets super. Who is looking for a certified good guy?

Has spent the past few years earning his keep getting 2 novice, timid ladies back into jumping. Miles through the 3’6” Juniors and Eq. Super safe, kind and easy. Will stand in the crossties all day to be groomed and loved on and will let your 5 yr old lead him all around the barn. Big step, flat jump, soft mouth. Well educated on the flat. Auto changes. Super brave and always jumps no matter what. Don’t have the best eye? No worries here - this guy has seen every distance under the sun and hasn’t met one he couldn’t get you out of! Cruises around like a big slow couch! Speedometer is set to Sunday stroll speed at all times. Can also pack your husband around for those obligatory riding lessons or take him down the trail (we have the videos to prove it 😂). Will teach you how to jump and is still happy to cruise around the 3’3”. Very, very sound with excellent x-rays. San Diego. 951-816-2818

Bravado Farms is seeking a part-time instructor to join our team in the riding school! We offer good pay, safe lesson horses, and amazing customers. If you have a hunter/jumper background, passion for teaching beginners through intermediate riders, we encourage you to apply.

We are looking for someone that’s passionate, a self starter, organized, friendly, hardworking, reliable and has good communication skills.

Position is 2-3 afternoons per week and on Saturdays.

Possibility to ride and do more teaching when we are away at shows for the right candidate.

We are located in the 4S Ranch area of San Diego, about 12 minutes away from Del Mar Horsepark.

Fun Judge’s Clinic day with Penny Wahler! Lots of great insight and tips. Learned how score a hunter round and then tested our skills on the Thermal live stream. We may not be able to ride due to the rain but still lots to learn from the ground. Thank you for a great day Penny! We all learned a bunch.

Available for in barn half lease - Finnick - 12 yr old 16.3hd gelding. Fabulous confidence builder type for the hunter and eq rings from the 2’6”-3’6”. No stop, goes one speed, always jumps and can take a joke. Auto changes, well versed on the flat, soft mouth. This is the easiest horse to have in the barn, no prep at the shows, can jump around in any ring without seeing the jumps. Always keeps the rider safe. He is extremely smooth and has a jump as flat as a pancake. San Diego

So thankful for these special creatures that show us unconditional love, teach us how to be brave and kind, give us wings to soar and make every day an adventure. Without them, we might have a little more money in our pockets but our lives would be empty!

Such a fun week at the GSDHJA Champ Show! All of the girls rode great and had a blast. We finished out the week with 7 Champions and 17 Reserve Champions! Highlights include 2nd in the Open Eq Challenge, 2nd in the 3’3” Medal Finals, 10th Medal Finals (Sheridan Evarts), 4th place finish in Flat Medal Finals and 9th place Mini Medal Finals (Lauren Mutch), 3rd 2’3” Hunter Derby and 9th Green Rider Medal Finals (Chloe Morris), 3 Reserve Champions in the Children’s Jumpers and Modified Jr/Am Jumpers (Sadie Wellman), Champion and Reserve in the Open .95 and AA Jumpers (Skyler Sloan).
