It helps if you have a dog that takes to fetch naturally. Throw the ball or toy and once your puppy picks the toy up and turns around call them to come. Hopefully when they get to you, they still have the toy in their mouth. Take your treat and put it right in front of their nose, and say drop it. Your puppy has a big dilemma.
