I love three things; God, dogs, food. Of course my family and home and ya know I pray for world peace. But. Ariana Grande had it wrong. Happiness is not the same price as red bottoms. 👠It is dinner with friends. It is date night meals. It is family gathering around food. I had the most wonderful birthday weekend. Here’s a sliver peek of a few things I smashed into my face. Thank you to everyone who sent a gift or text or commented somewhere in the social media world 😂🥹 seriously, y’all make a girl feel loved. 🥰

If someone wants to buy me this dog bag for my birthday (18th) or for prime day (21st) or for Thanksgiving (28), or even for Christmas — I will happily accept it in the form of $36,500 donated to dog shelters and rescue organizations. That said, if makes a penny on these, it better be given back to a shelter. We’re watching you 👀

So since Home Depot has decided to start staging ALL the holidays beginning in September (to include Halloween Thanksgiving and Christmas 🎃🦃🎄), I am here to tell you that if you plan to go nowhere or somewhere this holiday season —whether that be to trick-or-treat 🍭or see Santa 🎅, this is your immediate reminder to book the dog sitter NOW…to put the dog in daycare the day of or day before a long day away… To start training NOW for people knocking at your door 🍬👻for people dropping food on the floor 🍂🥘and for potentially a man dressed in red and white to shimmy down your chimney and give you some cool s**t 🎁 That said, we will be here, BUT we wont be available for long!!

This remodel was a *journey*. Emotionally draining and labor intensive — and I wasn’t even doing the demo. But the fact that I can fit close to 30 small dogs in my bedroom shower makes me really really hopeful for ✨the dream✨ dog rescue ADU in the back 🥹🥹👍🙃😅🤣🤣😘 thank you for trusting the visions I always seem to have, no matter how crazy I look with a staple gun in one hand 🌳and shrubbery in another. 🤪We’ve already conquered three dogs fear of bath time so — we’re doing great. 😌

The Niña, Pinta, and Santa Maria were the three ships that Christopher Columbus used on his first voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in 1492.

The Niña and Pinta were prized for their speed and maneuverability.

Not unlike the ships, Nina, Coco, and Caesar are very fast and they enjoyed all the zoomies in our 8,000 fenced in square feet of green grass! 🛥️🛥️🛥️🌱🐾

Fenway Lynn Rodgers (of Fenway’s Runway) is a 10 year old pit mix who was found in a box in Kentucky at four months old + rescued by who brought her to Virginia. She stayed in foster care briefly then rescued Matt + Care Rodgers in February of 2014. Shortly after, Care left her job at the Vet Clinic + founded Fenway’s Runway (dog training, sitting, daycare + walks).

The Dank Dog Collective is both a non profit artisan soapery + dog rescue. The Dank Dog Soap Co. handcrafts soaps + care goods for you AND your dog. ALL proceeds support the rescues that provide sanctuary + rehabilitation so dogs can find themselves, as well as their furever families.

These FR custom soaps are, as everything is, an ode to Fenway. Our all American 🇺🇸 sweet little mint julep princess. 🧼

Organic garden mint blended with locally grown cucumber to refresh dog’s skin + coat naturally.

As we launch on Father’s Day, this soap is extra special to me. Hand soaps were (yes, seriously) one of my dad’s favorite things. He also preferred an orange scent over any others (“the others smell fake, this one smells like an orange!”). My pop passed away in April of 2017 + it feels just as hard this Father’s Day as it did then. The plus side this year, is that I can sell a soap that my high standards dad 100% would’ve approved of — and the best part — it SAVES A DOG’S LIFE!
