🥰 Hobbes is thriving and living his best life with his adoring mom. She came to PEAC intending to adopt an African Grey, but to her surprise (and ours) her perfect match ended up being Hobbes, a Severe Macaw! 🦜 The rest is history!

NEW LOCATION: Coronado Library! We've had a last minute change to our venue for Saturday's Parrot Toy Making Party. We are no longer meeting at the Point Loma Library.

PEAC's Parrot Toy Making Party
Date: Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Time: 2:15pm - 5:00 pm

NEW Location: Coronado Library - Winn Room
640 Orange Ave. Coronado, CA 92118

There is free street parking around the library.

The Winn Room is immediately to the right of the Front Desk/Book Checkout just as you enter the library through the main entrance. Please ask the staff at the front desk for directions if you are not sure.

Thank you for your patience with this last minute change! Toy making parts will be provided, you only need bring yourself and a creative, fun attitude! We hope to see you there!

💚🩵Foster update about adoptable Tequila🩵💚

♥️Tequila loves being around people, getting head scritches and enjoys chatting together.
👋🏽He is still getting used to hands, but he does have some favorite people he trusts at feathersandfuranimalhospital.
🎤🎶Tequila is quite musical and is the number one singer of all birthday songs in the office. 🎂🧁

💚🩵Tequila is still looking for a forever home, preferably with a patient person who is happy just hanging out nearby while building trust.

April Adcock of Parrot Playhouse has generously started a fundraiser for PEAC to honor and celebrate her beloved cockatoo Victoria, who crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago. April has been a volunteer with PEAC for over a decade and supporter of so many rescues, having done many herself. Thank you for all you have done to help companion parrots April, beautiful Victoria's spirit is living on in all of our hearts. 🦜💕
