Creepy Crawlies reptile and exotics rescue and education

Creepy Crawlies reptile and exotics rescue and education reptile and exotic pet rescue that does not believe in buying, selling, trading or breeding animals.

Our goal is to find the right, forever, home for each animal, with people who believe that these are pets and not a way to make money. Who we are
Creepy Crawlies reptile and exotics rescue and education is a San Diego based rescue. We are a no charge rescue that, with the help of a network of other rescues, fosters and veterinarians, works towards making sure that reptiles and other exotic pets ar

e healthy, happy and find a good forever home. We do not buy, sell, trade, breed or otherwise make money off of any animal that we take in or re-home. We specialize in larger, more aggressive species, such as monitor lizards, iguanas, boas and pythons. We also take in smaller species of reptiles and amphibians, as well as certain mammalian species. We will only refuse an animal if we do not have the room to care for it at that time. If an animal must be refused, we will try and locate a rescue who has the room for it and can care for it properly.

Little roo has slipped to 3rd place this round. He has to be in the top 2 to go through to the semi finals. I am asking everyone to vote every day to get him back to number 1 and to please share this post to as many people as you can. Winning this contest would give me enough money to level out all of the ills for the rescue. I would also get to keep my car, which would be nice. And remember, not only will I win, but Wee Companions small animal rescue will also get a nice size donation. So please everyone, click the link and go do the free vote every day Please vote for my pet in the Top Pets competition 🤩

I have put a couple lizards in with Drogon since he came in. I thought maybe it would calm him down a little bit, After him not wanting to be near the lizards I tried, I paired him up with my very sweet, female, red tegu. He did not try to avoid her, they would eat together, he would not hide from her, and I just went outside and saw this. Also, he does not run and hide every time I come outside anymore. I am not sure if it because he sees me interact with her, or she just kind of calms him down. I thought this was a very cute moment. https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=FJNR4A5RAK2PS&fbclid=IwY2xjawTjCuhwZG9mBWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMWw0aHVlVldPekFDdHlFYTBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeYsPRqpmsM4fR5Eq07pi_ZNF-roRTu-HkD0HvwCq0m9F1tsGrJfcD2F91uho_aem_NqFtSOlqciDSmwqzf8NkYw

I am going to keep this short. We are in dire need of donations again. The bank account is down to 87.00 dollars, and we still owe on every bill. Thanks to my dog food and bird food donations, the pet food bill was cut a bit, but that is no where near enough when there are not many donations coming in. We were 3000.00 dollars or so behind at the beginning of June, and we did get around a 1000.00 in donations for my Birthday drive, including money for my actual birthday, lol. If you can donate to the rescue, please do. I hope everyone is having a great weekend and that you, and your pets, are all happy and healthy. https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=FJNR4A5RAK2PS&fbclid=IwY2xjawTAjJ1leHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETFaanJISERCbEZvMTRFbFBic3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHuBNKp0GYlTepqhGyo71koHxehifIKi8t8rhonF3iNlLGDtPFhNi2s_ajZnk_aem_saLwKjnZ68BUpzHK7w_02Q

All 6 of my dogs did just fine last night while the booms and pops were going off. I washed everyone and brought them all inside and we did a dog pile on floor pile of blankets and pillows. We watched the movie Project Hail Mary and ate some steak. None of the dogs I have right now gave a crap about the fireworks, which is the first time since I added dog rescue to my rescue efforts. Here is a photo of Jasper sitting in front of the fan and looking cute. Since I got so many thumbs ups, here are the rest of my domestic mammals. All ten of these, plus 3 baby possums, were in the house with me last night. I did not bring the rescue pigs in, because they do not all get along with the dogs or with each other, lol. This a fraction of he animals cared for here at the rescue. There are parrots, snakes, lizards, tarantulas, turtles, tortoises, some wild animals, chickens, ducks, pigs and a turkey. All are welcome, but priority is given to the more problematic or aggressive animals. We are a last chance for animals that other rescues may not want to deal with. With over 100 animals here, we could use all the good wishes you can spare, and more pictures of your animals.

To every one who owns dogs. With the uptick in fireworks shows being changed to drone shows, there is going to be a huge increase in private citizens lighting off actual fireworks. Bring your dogs inside tonight. The neighborhood fireworks are going to be far closer and louder, not to mention more stressful on your animals. Be safe tonight and bring the in. I have had many dogs over my life time, and many of those dogs were very scared of fireworks and loud thunder. I have even had a dog die from a heart attack during a loud thunderstorm. Please bring them in and be with them for comfort. You are their reason to be here, and they trust you, so be there for them tonight. I hope that you and your animals all have a safe and fun 250th Independence Day. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1831251824928025
