All 6 of my dogs did just fine last night while the booms and pops were going off. I washed everyone and brought them all inside and we did a dog pile on floor pile of blankets and pillows. We watched the movie Project Hail Mary and ate some steak. None of the dogs I have right now gave a crap about the fireworks, which is the first time since I added dog rescue to my rescue efforts. Here is a photo of Jasper sitting in front of the fan and looking cute. Since I got so many thumbs ups, here are the rest of my domestic mammals. All ten of these, plus 3 baby possums, were in the house with me last night. I did not bring the rescue pigs in, because they do not all get along with the dogs or with each other, lol. This a fraction of he animals cared for here at the rescue. There are parrots, snakes, lizards, tarantulas, turtles, tortoises, some wild animals, chickens, ducks, pigs and a turkey. All are welcome, but priority is given to the more problematic or aggressive animals. We are a last chance for animals that other rescues may not want to deal with. With over 100 animals here, we could use all the good wishes you can spare, and more pictures of your animals.
