Established in 2006, The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of companion animals by providing access to necessary medical care and education.

🐾 Sorin is a 6-month-old, curious little kitty whose world changed in an instant after he accidentally pushed through a window screen and escaped outside. He spent the entire night alone, injured, scared, and unable to stand, until his owner finally found him the next morning hiding under a bush, in pain and unable to use his hind leg. 💔

Veterinarians confirmed a severely fractured femur requiring urgent surgery. But after spending everything they had on emergency care and X-rays, Sorin’s family had nothing left to cover the lifesaving procedure he desperately needed.

That’s when FACE stepped in.
Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to pledge $5,500 to make Sorin’s fracture repair surgery possible and give this sweet boy a second chance at a pain-free life. 🐱✨

But we still need help to fully fund Sorin’s case!

Mariah is only 7 months old… and her playful little world turned upside down in seconds. She got her tiny paw stuck under a cabinet, let out a scream, and her family rushed to find her with a painfully broken leg. 💔

Emergency surgery was the only option, but the cost was more than her loving family could afford. They were devastated, thinking they’d have to say goodbye to their baby girl… until the hospital referred them to FACE.

Thanks to our community, FACE pledged $3,300 so Mariah could get lifesaving surgery and a chance to run, play, and wag her tail again. 🐶💛

Meet Roxie, a 5-year-old American Bulldog whose joyful tail wagging nearly cost her life. She developed “happy tail,” a painful condition that led to a severe infection and fractured tail.

When the infection reached the bone, her devoted single mom, still recovering from a car accident, was heartbroken and couldn’t afford the urgent surgery Roxie needed. That’s when FACE stepped in. 🐾

Thanks to your generosity, FACE pledged $2,500 toward Roxie’s lifesaving tail amputation at Nuevo Road Animal Hospital, but we still need your help to fully fund her care.

👀🐾 I spy with my little eyes… an Ozzy who can smile again!

This sweet 7-year-old kitty had been silently suffering from painful dental disease, making every meal a struggle. His loving mom, managing on a limited income and SNAP benefits, was heartbroken watching him in pain, but she refused to give up.
