Oh Dear! ❤️‍🩹 Poor Thrud was diagnosed with a foreign body obstruction. 🩺 Thankfully, a quick exploratory gastrotomy at successfully removed the culprit: a pesky hair tie!

🐈 Thrud, named after the Norse goddess of strength and beauty, is a true joy. She brings smiles to everyone she meets with her charming “meow” and playful antics. 🧶💞 Despite her recent health scare, she’s already back to her old self, enjoying her favorite spot by the screen door and seeking attention during work meetings. 😻

🐾Poor Anna! While running, she playfully jumped off a 3-foot ledge and ended up with severe fractures in both of her front legs.

💛Anna’s owner lives paycheck to paycheck and quickly depleted his savings trying cover her emergency veterinary care. He also tried to finance Anna’s surgery, but his current income is too low to qualify for credit. Luckily, Anna is being treated at VCA California Veterinary Specialist Hospital, Murrieta - a FACE partner who is working with us to help this sweet one-year-old Schnauzer pup.

Lee, a ten-year-old domestic shorthair, wasn’t feeling quite herself. Her family noticed a wound on her paw and took her to the vet. The diagnosis wasn’t good: a deep laceration, likely from a fight with another animal. Lee needed surgery to repair the wound, but the cost was more than her family could afford.

Devastated, Lee’s family reached out to FACE. Thankfully, FACE was able to cover the cost of the surgery thanks to donors and sponsors like Keck School of Medicine of USC. Lee’s family was overjoyed. They knew that without FACE’s help, they would have lost their beloved pet.

After the surgery, Lee made a full recovery. She is now safe and sound, enjoying all the comforts of indoor living. A huge thank you to sponsors and donors who make helping family’s save their furry friends possible!

Maisy is a 4-year-old Aussiedoodle who was recently saved thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. Maisy was diagnosed with bladder stones and needed urgent, unaffordable surgery. Her owners were struggling to make ends meet after a car accident and could not afford the treatment.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors, Maisy was able to get the surgery she needed. She is now home with her family and back to her cuddly self! We are so grateful for the support of our sponsors. Their donations have helped us to save countless animals like Maisy.

🌼 Daisy, a tiny bundle of joy with a big heart, brings smiles wherever she goes. Despite her small size, she’s been facing some big challenges with bladder stones and severe dental issues. Although both family members are employed full-time, their modest salaries make daily survival a constant challenge.

Thanks to the generosity of FACE donors like Monica Massey and Bart Cohen, Daisy was able to receive the necessary veterinary care. Their support has made a huge difference in her life, and she’s now on the road to recovery. 💛

😻 Meet Thomas James aka TJ, the lively little kitty bursting with energy and a talent for bringing joy to everyone around him! 🧶 He adores his kitty siblings and his devoted owner, often seen lounging on his sunny window perch, basking in the warmth while scheming his next playful adventure. ☀️🪟TJ’s owner is on a fixed income from Social Security and a part-time contract job. Balancing daily expenses and a recent car repair, she struggled to afford the necessary treatment for her beloved kitty. 😿

TJ was diagnosed with a urinary obstruction, a condition that can be life-threatening if left untreated, TJ required immediate veterinary care. 🩺

Thanks to the compassionate team at and the community support of FACE, TJ received the urgent treatment he needed. Today, he’s back to his playful self, bringing joy to his family and everyone around him. 😻✨

✨George, a majestic Domestic Longhair with a heart as big as his purr, faced a daunting challenge. Diagnosed with repeat urinary blockages, the little guy needed a perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery to survive.‼️ But the road to recovery was paved with financial obstacles that threatened to derail his chances.

George’s owner, a devoted companion, had exhausted his resources on previous treatments.🩺 The prospect of the expensive PU surgery seemed insurmountable. Yet, hope was not lost! 💫 A ray of light appeared in the form of FACE and a compassionate veterinary hospital, in Sorrento Valley, San Diego.

The hospital recognized the urgency of George’s situation and the deep bond he shared with his owner. They offered a solution that would not only save George’s life but also alleviate the financial burden. With their support and FACE, George underwent the necessary surgery, a testament to the hospital’s commitment to providing quality care for all animals, regardless of their circumstances. 🐾

George’s recovery was a long and arduous journey, but his indomitable spirit and the unwavering love of his owner propelled him forward. 💛 Today, he is a thriving, happy cat, his playful antics and infectious purr a constant source of joy.
