Established in 2006, The Foundation for Animal Care and Education (FACE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, whose mission is to enhance and preserve the quality of life of companion animals by providing access to necessary medical care and education.

💛 CRITICAL CASE OF THE WEEK 💛
Meet Roxie, a 5-year-old American Bulldog whose joyful tail wagging nearly cost her life. She developed “happy tail,” a painful condition that led to a severe infection and fractured tail.

When the infection reached the bone, her devoted single mom, still recovering from a car accident, was heartbroken and couldn’t afford the urgent surgery Roxie needed. That’s when FACE stepped in. 🐾

Thanks to your generosity, FACE pledged $2,500 toward Roxie’s lifesaving tail amputation at Nuevo Road Animal Hospital, but we still need your help to fully fund her care.

🐾💛 When Diego was adopted two years ago, his family instantly fell in love with his sweet, gentle nature. But recently, Diego began struggling to walk, his back legs collapsing after just a few steps.

After multiple vet visits, Diego was diagnosed with severe bilateral hip dysplasia and a completely dislocated hip. His family was heartbroken but couldn’t afford the surgery he needed to live pain-free.

Thanks to your generosity, FACE granted $3,000 to help bridge the funding gap for Diego’s lifesaving surgery! 🩺

Sweet 5-year-old Jack fills his home with love, energy, and joy, but when he suddenly couldn’t urinate, everything changed. 💔 A severe urinary blockage left him fighting for his life, and his family, already struggling with unemployment, couldn’t afford the care he desperately needed.

Another organization helped start his treatment, but it wasn’t enough, until FACE stepped in. Thanks to your support, Jack received the surgery and care that saved his life, and he’s now back home where he belongs: happy, healing, and so loved. 💛

👀🐾 I spy with my little eyes… an Ozzy who can smile again!

This sweet 7-year-old kitty had been silently suffering from painful dental disease, making every meal a struggle. His loving mom, managing on a limited income and SNAP benefits, was heartbroken watching him in pain, but she refused to give up.

That’s when FACE stepped in. 💫
With your support, Ozzy received the dental surgery he needed to live pain-free again. Now he’s back to eating, purring, and showing off that adorable smile!
