🐾💔One moment, 2-year-old Gidget was full of life. The next, a terrible car accident left her unable to stand or even wag her tail. Her pelvis was shattered, and without emergency surgery, she wouldn’t survive.

For her dad, it was unthinkable. He had rescued Gidget from an abusive home and promised her a better life. Now he faced losing his best friend, the pup who had already overcome so much.

When hope felt out of reach, he found FACE. Together, we’re giving Gidget the chance to heal and walk again. 🐶✨

💛🐾 Meet Gadget, the little boss who runs his house!

Five years ago, Gadget walked into his family’s lives as a tiny kitten and completely stole their hearts. He filled their home with love, midnight zoomies, and even a little comic-book-collecting charm. (Yes, he’s an avid comic fan. 🦸🏻‍♂️)

But recently, this sweet boy faced a terrifying battle. Gadget suddenly couldn’t urinate, was vomiting, and spent his time hiding in the litter box. The diagnosis: a life-threatening urinary blockage. Without urgent treatment, he wouldn’t survive. ❤️‍🩹

His devastated family, already stretched thin, had no way to cover the overwhelming cost of surgery. That’s when they found FACE. With our pledge of support, Gadget got the life-saving care he needed. Today, he’s back home snuggling, soaking up belly rubs (on his terms), and reminding his family every day that he’s the boss.

💛🐾 Meet spunky Malla! For one young child, Malla is more than just a dog, she’s their therapy companion, comfort, and best friend. 🐶✨

When curious little Malla swallowed an acorn, it led to a dangerous intestinal blockage. The surgery to save her life came with a staggering bill her family could not afford. Their only other option was the unthinkable, saying goodbye. 💔

Thankfully, FACE stepped in. With a $6,000 grant, Malla received the life-saving surgery she needed and is now back home, safe, healing, and right where she belongs: in the arms of the child who adores her. 🫂🐾

Stories like Malla’s remind us why FACE exists, because no family should lose their pet simply due to financial hardship.

At 12 years old, Dottie has been a loyal and loving member of her family since she was just a pup. 🐾 But one morning, everything changed—she let out a sudden yelp and began limping. An urgent vet visit revealed the cause: a dislocated hip that would require surgery.

For Dottie’s family—hardworking members of the San Diego service industry—the rising cost of living left little room for unexpected emergencies. 💔 But they were determined to do whatever it took to help their beloved senior girl.

Thanks to a Grey Muzzle grant, FACE Foundation stepped in to help cover the cost of Dottie’s surgery at ABC Uptown Animal Hospital. She underwent a femoral head ostectomy (FHO)—a procedure her family simply couldn’t have afforded on their own.

Now Dottie is on the road to recovery, surrounded by love and given the chance to enjoy her golden years pain-free and by her family’s side. 💛

❤️‍🩹🐾 Meet Bella, a big personality wrapped up in a sweet, charismatic pup who lights up her family’s world. ✨Recently, Bella faced a terrifying diagnosis: pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. Without urgent surgery, her only options were suffering or euthanasia.

Her loving family, her veteran dad working two jobs, her mom caring for their three kids, was devastated. They would do anything for Bella, but the cost of her emergency care was simply out of reach. 💔

Meet Baba & Bell, two sweet 8-year-old pups who found their forever home when their loving owner took them in after a friend could no longer care for them. 🏡💕

Noticing signs of oral pain, their mom rushed them to the vet, only to discover that both Baba and Bell were suffering from severe dental disease and needed extractions to live pain-free. The cost of surgery for both dogs was overwhelming for their owner, who lives on a fixed income. 💔

That’s when FACE stepped in. With the help of our supporters and the team at - Baba and Bell received the surgeries they needed! Today, these two cuties are healing, thriving, and back to showering their mom with love. ✨
