Information for the puppies going home!
1) Puppies are eating this food, purina one sensitive systems salmon. NO chicken based foods as some of my dogs are allergic to chicken based foods. Be careful to stay away from treats made from chicken also.
2) The pro-pectalin gel is good to have on hand. It helps with travel, helps the puppy not to get car sick. It is also good for environmental changes, food changes, stress, after shots and wormings, ect... it has probiotics which is good for your puppy. You can order it online, Amazon and other places, also most veterinary places carry it, but it will cost twice as much there.
3) I use blue dawn dish soap for baths.
4) Limit exposure to germs outside of your home to your puppy, especially in public places and veterinary offices. Remember people take sick dogs to the vet and there is no way to completely get rid of all the germs, especially in a outside potty area.
5) Your puppy will be due for next shots(3rd set) and wormings April 30st(River or Zeva litters) or May 3rd(Cougars litter). Wormings can be done earlier, but you need two weeks between shots. They will need a 4th set of shots and worming two weeks after you get the 3rd set. You can go to a monthly wormer after the 4th set. They will need a rabies shot at 4 to 6 months old.
