You rarely see an all black hound, but I had one. This is him. Landon. I stopped for gas one day, and he was tied to a post outside the mini Mart. His mom had gone in to pay. I stood there and got to know him, and waited for his owner to come out. I handed her a card, and said I wanted to walk your dog out at Fort Funston, in my group. I ran into him out there with another walker, and he was too much for her. She asked me if I wanted to walk him in my group, and I said "Do I ever?" Not long after I got a call from his owner. I thought she called me because her walker had told her to call me, but she hadn't gotten around to it. The owner called me because she had saved my card after our meeting. What a dog. I walked him until they moved to Oakland. What a beauty. A lot of work, but it was worth it.
