This image does a great job at illustrating how the same food can look different simply based on harvesting times. We see this happen in as they lack synthetic coloring. With fresh, whole foods, some seasonal variance in appearance, smell, and even texture is normal and to be expected depending on the time of year the ingredients were harvested.

Pawtrero has a new look! Many of our customers saw the scaffolding over the last month, but we're finally new and improved! Thank you so much to Mural Arts SF for restoring the mural they did for us almost 20 years ago! They made some updates, including changing the cat to look like the one and only KUSH!

"What do you feed your dogs?"
I get asked this question a lot at the shop. It usually comes after a compliment about how shiny and smooth their coats are, or how clean and odor free their teeth are. It may look like a lot, but the right mix of raw or whole foods, supplements, and dental chews can save big $$$ in the long run. Less tummy issues, less dental issues, and less joint issues mean you won't be breaking the bank with vet bills, and the savings compound as they get older!

Just don't forget, you still have to brush their teeth regularly!
