Training your dog isn’t always smooth sailing, but avoiding these common mistakes can make all the difference:

❌ Repeating commands (your dog might learn to ignore you).
❌ Using punishment instead of positive reinforcement.
❌ Skipping training in new environments—practice makes perfect everywhere!
❌ Not being consistent with rules (e.g., sometimes letting them jump up).
❌ Forgetting to make it fun!

Remember, training is about building trust and communication. Start small, stay consistent, and keep it positive. 🐾

Training can be fun… until your dog decides the squirrel outside is more interesting than you.

Here’s how to keep your pup focused during training sessions:
1️⃣ Keep sessions short—5-10 minutes is plenty for most dogs.
2️⃣ Use high-value treats (think tiny pieces of treats - think rate of rewards, not size).
3️⃣ Train in a quiet space before introducing distractions.

The trick? Patience and consistency. Every dog learns at their own pace, so celebrate small wins along the way. 🎉
