Meet Bruce! Bruce was recently treated for an abscess on his leg. While it finished healing we have kept his leg and foot bandaged to prevent him from chewing it his stitches - the cone of shame did not work for him. We took the bandage off to change it today and he went crazy cleaning his toes - SO ITCHY! Haha such a cutie!

Ace came in for treatment of his torn nail. Because it was very painful we gave him a mild sedative and pain medication to allow us to remove the remaining fragment of splintered nail so it could heal and to remove the source of pain for him. We always have a nurse closely monitor these patients while they are waking up, petting and talking to them to help them come around. Ace was minimally responding to any of these stimuli except when Amanda said: "wake up!" as pictured in the video 😂 silly dog! After a few days his nail is healing great!
