If you are looking for a fun, safe, and exciting experience for your pet, then you've come to the right place! Whether you and your pet need playgroups, overnight care, individual walks, or vacation visits, we have you covered. Here at Dog Tales, we emphasize positive reinforcement training techniques in all of our services. We provide your pet with professional and personalized care, endless love

and affection, and a stimulating social life that would be the envy of most humans. Our Dog Walking Service Area:
Our service area includes Noe Valley, Glen Park, Diamond Heights, Buena Vista, Castro, Mission, and West Portal and nearby environs. *Ask us about our petsitting service area! Play Groups:
Play groups are kept to no more than 6 dogs to maintain safety and individual attention. All groups enjoy lots of exercise, fun and positive reinforcement in a safe environment.

$21 for full time dogs
$23 for part time dogs (less than 5 days a week)
$10 for additional dog from same household

Play Group Requirements:
Dogs must have current proof of DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. Titers are accepted. Dogs must be on a once a month flea and tick control program such as Frontline or Advantage. Dogs must wear a current dog license and identification tag. Microchipping is recommended for identification purposes. Dogs must be non-aggressive and play well with others. Dogs must be on voice command recall to participate in off-leash playgroups. Puppies must be enrolled in and attending puppy class. A great place for this is SF Puppy Prep. Dogs six months or older must be spayed or neutered. Individual Dog Walks:
Private walks in your neighborhood for those dogs who prefer or need alone time for their exercise.

$25 for 30 minute walk
$15 for quick potty breaks

Weekend walks or walks after 5PM:
$25 for 30 minute walk

Day Care Play Group:
Dogs in Day Care are out approximately 4 to 5 hours each day and get to play in two groups. Day Care dogs come home very tired and happy!
$40 a day

Puppy Visits
A basic 10 to 15 minute puppy visit consist of a quick potty break and a short walk in a safe area.

A 30 minute puppy visit consists of all the above plus games and exercise and basic obedience training to build up good dog manners. This longer visit also includes daily reports regarding your puppy’s development and behavior.

Vacation Visits:
These are 30 minute visits/walks while you are away on vacation. They include feedings, fresh water, walks and play time. We will also collect mail, water plants, turn on/off lights, do a home security check and phone or email reports regarding your pets if desired.

$25 one visit per day, $50 two visits, $70 three visits

Cat Visits:
Visits include feeding, litter box cleaning and play time as well as plant watering, mail pick up, etc. as requested.

$25 for 30 minute visit (1-3 cats), add $3 for additional cat

Overnight Care In Your Home
With this service, your pets benefit from staying in their own environment, which is a lot less stressful than kenneling. Plus, you have the added security of knowing that someone is taking care of your home and pets while you are away. This includes feedings, walks, fresh water and play time. We will also collect mail, water plants, take out garbage, turn on/off lights, do a home security check and phone or email reports regarding your pets if desired. Overnight care service starts at 6pm and ends at 9am. Any service required before or after these times on the first and last day of service incurs an additional charge.

$65 for one dog
$70 for puppies
Add $10 per additional dog
$5 per cat

An extra midday walk with basic overnight care $18, $8 for additional dog
Midday potty breaks with overnight service $9, $4 for additional dog
Group outing (if applicable) $17

Overnight Care In Your Home - For Cats:
This service includes feedings, fresh water, play time and litter box cleaning. (Basic overnight care is from 6pm to 9am.)

$55 (this includes care for up to 2 cats), $5 for an additional cat

Cageless Boarding in My Home:
At my house, your dog will enjoy all the comforts of home! All dogs receive 3 walks a day and LOTS of love. They have free run of the house and a large back yard. While in my home, they will benefit from the company of other dogs, however, there are never more than 3 dogs boarded at one time. Often, weekends are spent on dog-centered adventures to parks, the beach or hiking in dog friendly places. Boarders must not be aggressive, bark when left alone or soil / destroy the house. Dogs must have current proof of DHLPP, Bordetella and Rabies vaccinations. Rates are $60 per night. This rate includes drop off either by 9:15am or after 5pm on the day of boarding. Dogs picked up after 9:15am are charged an additional $20-$25 for the day. Add $30 per additional dog from same household.
