The shop was begun by animal lovers Paula Harris and Celia Sack who deemed it a mom and mom store. Over the past 18 years Noe Valley Pet has grown to become a neighborhood institution, the go to place to get a referral for a doting cat sitter or a Friday night puppy social. Our vision remains to sell the highest quality products whether it’s sophisticated dog collars and organic pet foods, or util

itarian cat litter. As you explore this site you will notice there is no e-commerce. That is because we want you to come in and talk to us in person about kibble verses the raw meat diet, let your dog squeeze a plush toy or roll in a comfy bed. While you’re at it you might want to grab a fishy can and a catnip cigar for your cat “to go.”

Calling all pets! Little and big! Hairy and scary!

Please join us this upcoming Saturday, October 26th from 2 to 5pm for our 8th annual Pet Parade and Contest.

We are encouraging all pets and owners to dress up as we will be picking winners based on, Originality, Craft and Personality.

We will have prizes and treats! We want everyone to walk away with a goodies! Meet us at the store at 2pm to let the parade begin!

We had the privilege of meeting Linden in person at the pet store. She is a sweet two year, good natured happy girl!

She is a little shy, but when she opens up her personality shines through. She loves to play, enjoys car rides and going out of town. She also knows how to chill and relax, just in time to cozy up with a new family for winter.

Linden is looking for an active foster or forever home. Fostering to adopt is a great way to fully get to know her. Learn more directly through Northern California Sled Dog Rescue.

We have been carrying Green Juju for a hot minute now and it's been doing great gaining fans. Now we would like to introduce your dog and cat to Free Dried Whole Food Bites!

Our hearts would be so full if the community could help Koa find his forever home.

He has been with for over two years waiting patiently be loved forever. Last pic is him as a puppy. Who can help show Koa that there is a fuller life after rescue?

He is shy and fearful of the world, but can you blame him? He would do best outside of the city, as he is a country bumpkin in nature. He is crate trained, and easy going inside the home. He is social and loves playing with other dogs!

Baloo (like the bear) is a 60lb English Bulldog who came in today and picked out the teeniest tiniest Kong Snuzzle toy for himslef.

These small toys are designed for petite dogs but can put a smile on any dog's face! They stand at about 3in tall and wide for your mini or big companion. As long as they're gentle. They come in a variety of animals and colors.

Did you know you can combine your punch cards?!

We know you have a handful in "the kitchen drawer", along the ketchup packets, chop stocks, screw driver, stolen pens etc. 😅. We all have that drawer. But bring all your cards in and put them to good use!

We punch for food and when you fill up the card you get $5 OFF merchandise and more! This excludes food but your fur friend will love their new toy or treat you surprise them with!
