Sweetheart Isaac is still looking for his forever home!

It’s a big week, we have another kitten available for adoption. Please meet Peppermint Patty!

Peppermint Patty is a little 10-week-old calico kitten in search of a home. She is gentle and mellow, and has lots of affection and purrs waiting for you! She had a bit of a rough start with an eye infection. She is feeling much better and her eye is stable and does not require medical treatment. But she now has a little permanent wink.

Peppermint Patty is a little shy at first and would do best in a quiet household. But she warms up quickly, and loves attention from people, talking in little chirps. She would benefit from a cat buddy who is already part of the family, to help give her confidence.

Hi, my name is Cheeto! I am about a year old, and was rescued right from Toni’s backyard.

My foster says I’m exceptionally sweet and gentle *blush* and will continue to thrive in a quiet and calm home. I’m shy when I first meet you, but soon enough I’ll learn that you are kind and my purrs will be unstoppable.

I can be your one and only kitty, or a purrrfect addition to your furry family. I get along great with all of my foster’s cats, both the bossy alpha male as well as a very shy female cat.

My fur is especially soft and I love to get cozy. It's hard to get up in the morning when I'm cuddling next to you. I love affection and will let you know with instant purrs and loving gaze. I also love to play and get brushed!

Buffy and Tippy are now available for adoption!

Tippy and Buffy are an energetic bonded pair. They are not siblings but they have been together since just after birth. Both have gotten along well with other kittens and adult cats.

Buffy is a petite tortoiseshell calico girl. She may be small, but she is mighty! And she goes head-to-head with her foster’s adult cats. Buffy is curious about everything and is always investigating. One of her favorite tricks is to push papers off the desk and then rearrange them on the floor. She likes to race up and down the hall with her pal Tippy.

Tippy is a playful black and white tuxedo with a small white tip at the end of her tail. She is extremely affectionate and sweet! She has beautifully soft fur and loves to have her back and sides stroked.

New kitty available for adoption!

Hi, I’m Isaac! I love head-scratches and I have a HUGE purr. I enjoy cuddling on laps, looking out the window, and being near my people.

I was found outside in San Francisco, but I enjoy being indoors. I can be a little shy when I meet people for the first time. For my foster-mom, I warmed up after a few hours and have become a lovable lunk of a companion. For other people, it might take a little longer, but I am learning to trust. If you put your hand out, I will head-butt it and ask for scratches on my head and neck.

I am a very good communicator and I have a cute little meow and greet my people this way. I want to be your only kitty so I can shower you with all my affection. I’ll do best in a quiet home - I’ve just been through a lot lately and I’m so glad to have a home and people to love.

Zalen and Zorro are now available for adoption!

Zorro and Zalen are brothers, and they are devoted to each other. They are both grey and white and are a playful, lovable pair. Both are really sweet and affectionate. They get along well with other kittens and adult cats.

Zalen is a handsome grey short-haired tuxedo kitty. He is initially a bit shy. But he makes up for that in snuggles and purrs. Of the two, he is more the lap cat. Zalen’s favorite maneuver is to roll over on his back and have a tummy rub. He will purr loudly when his head and ears are scratched. Zalen is a love bug.

Zorro is a fluffy patchwork kitten with a white collar, muzzle, and paws. His fur is slightly longer than his brother’s, and he loves to have it brushed. Of the two, Zorro is the more outgoing kitten. He is a great playmate. He and his brother are happy to run up and down the hallway, chasing a laser pointer or a ball.

We have a new cat available for adoption. Please meet Nellie! This sweet and playful girl is ready to find her forever home.

Nellie is a devoted companion who will greet you at the door with enthusiasm and loves to be near you, whether it's curled up at your feet or keeping watch from the couch. She takes her guard cat duties seriously and might even greet you good morning with a watchful presence at the foot of your bed.

Nellie also has a playful side and enjoys a good game - especially if it involves high-flying leaps after her favorite toy! Nellie would like to be an only cat so she can shower all her affection on you.

Kitty adoption update! 😻

This girl is Luna (formerly Merced). She was rescued from (you guessed it) Merced, along with her 4 kittens. While her kittens were adopted quickly, it took some time for Luna to find her forever home. But she found a wonderful home! Her family says that they think they adopted the "best kitty ever", and that she is "gentle, playful, affectionate and just the sweetest little baby angel we could have imagined."

We are so happy that both Luna and her family are happy and thriving. Thank you for adopting! ❤❤❤

Adopted kittens Iris and Athena are guest posting here to tell you all about Kitten Season!

Kitten Season is the time of year that kittens are usually born. In the northern hemisphere, this is usually around March through October. Mama cats biologically tend to not go into heat during the colder months of the winter, as it is less likely that their offspring will survive when it is cold. (Iris and Athena were born in April)

This isn’t a hard and fast rule, as we do see some kittens during the winter. But there are many, many more in the summer, with mama cats having, on average, 3 litters of 3-5 kittens each year.

So right now, there are very few kittens available for adoption. Come the summer months. We will have many, many more.

We have two new kitties available for adoption! Introducing Bubba and Plum!

Hi! I’m Plum (black). Bubba is my gentle brother (gray). I'm the more outgoing and vocal one who will greet you when you get home, while Bubba is chill and on the shy side. But don’t worry, It doesn’t take long to warm up to you.

Our foster says we’re low maintenance love bugs. I guess it’s because we’re pretty mellow and used to keeping each other company during the day: playing with each other, relaxing, and watching the birds from the window. And we aren’t fussy eaters which I hear is unique.. It might be because we were abandoned and just so grateful for consistent meals and LOVE.

Our favorite thing to do is snuggle. I hope you love to get cozy because we are two cuddly boys.❤️

I love to cuddle and get cozy. I was recently rescued off the streets of SF. At first I was so scared and hid from my foster, but after a few days, I warmed up and started showing my true confident, loving self. I LOVE to play play play!
