‘Tis the season 🎇 Here are some tips and tricks to make sure you and your dog are prepared for the fireworks!

💥 Make sure their chip information is up to date and they have tags with updated information

💥 Exercise them early in the day - plan out those potty breaks going into the evening hours

💥 Keep them inside - don’t rely on a fence to keep them secure when they go out, as dogs can dig and jump out when they get spooked

💥 Prepare some enrichment activities - freeze their favorite snacks in several toys

💥 Create a safe space ahead of time! Closed blinds, pillows, blankets, crate etc. Whatever would make them feel most comfortable

💥 Drown out the noise - play the TV, music, a podcast etc.

💥 Have medication on hand (if that’s how you roll)

💥 Try out a thunder shirt! You can make one out of an ace bandage if you need
