National Pug Day is a favorite around here

Chavito and I are easily entertained. This is a variation on our Scramble Game which we play to focus his attention on our immediate surroundings in busier environments. Two treats are put together and tossed onto the sidewalk. They often bounce in different directions. Which one will he follow first? Will he see or remember where the other one went? Will I? Does he use his nose to find it? Will I have to help? To keep the game frustration-free if a treat isn’t found by either of us, he gets one directly deposited into his mouth. Occasionally, to make it a bit more challenging and interesting, I toss 3 treats together. More than that, and I can’t keep track.😅 #TheFairyDogfather

One of Zelda’s favorite spots is this downed eucalyptus tree. She gets a treat before even going up in case she doesn’t want to climb that day. But the reinforcement history is very strong because multiple rewards happen when she does: treats, rubs, and my singing (lol). It’s also a good spot to get away from other dogs and offers her a vantage point to see what’s going on in the park around us. #TheFairyDogfather

Every Dog Deserves A Fairy Tale! Between work and social engagements, you lead a busy life. Giving your dog the regular exercise and socialization she needs can be a challenge. Don't fret! The Fairy Dogfather is here to help! I specialize in on-leash walks using positive reinforcement techniques. Your tail-wagger deserves as much attention as he can get which may be hard to come by when walked in larger groups. I keep my service area intentionally small and the number of dogs walked in groups are limited to 4 or fewer. And for less social pooches 1-on-1 private walks are available.
