Do you remember the 22 Chihuahas we took in during the summer? Only three are left waiting to find their forever homes - Robinson, Vera, and Caruso.

Vera and Caruso are a little more reserved, dreaming of a quiet home where they can slowly unfurl their hearts, while Robinson is eagerly waiting for an in-house, belly rubbing concierge.

They are ready to trade:

This dedicated team is here from the first morning feeding to the last evening lock-up. They are the caring hands that clean kennels, the knowledgeable voices on the phone, the expert matchmakers for adoptions, and the compassionate souls who offer comfort to the animals that come through our doors.

They work behind the scenes and on the front lines, often with tired feet and full hearts, providing the strength and structure that supports our entire operation.

A “pawsitive” update that will fill your heart with joy! 💖 After 6 long months waiting for her perfect match, our beautiful Quincy has officially been adopted!

We sent her off in style with a spa day fit for the princess she is—a refreshing bath and several lovely walks to get her ready for her fresh start. And the best part of all? She went home with one of our very own volunteers who knows and adores her!! We then celebrated her Gotcha Day in the best way possible—with a send-off full of love, and of course, cake and treats for all her shelter friends from ! 🎂

She was so ready to start her new life that she declined the ramp and hopped right into the car on her own! 🚗 While it can take shelter dogs days or even weeks to fully decompress and adjust, we’re thrilled to report that Quincy is already doing amazingly well in her forever home. This is what happy endings are made of.

Thank you to everyone who rooted for this sweet girl. Here’s to a lifetime of love, Quincy! 🐾✨
