Unfortunately, Billie Rose has had a bit of a setback with the nerve damage on her left hind foot. Nerve damage can be tricky to deal with, which is why it is super important to be very observant, stay on top of things, and take care of them as soon as you see a hint of any problem. Thank goodness Billie Rose’s Sanctuary Mama, Diana Marie, is just that person. 💜💖🐇♥️
So, here is poor Billie with a collar on. Again. She is having her foot treated, and back on the medication to treat the issue. It was already looking better this morning. Fingers crossed it keeps going in that direction.
When you donate to our Double Donor fundraiser, the one that we run at the end of every month to fund the following month, this is where your dollars are going. Medication, veterinary care, and so many other important things to keep the rescue up and running, to make sure we are able to care for the sanctuary rabbits in our guardianship.
Our Double Donor ends tonight at midnight, and we are only a little over halfway to our goal. We are worried. Please help! We truly cannot do this without you.

BUNSY MALONE
Dental Time
Fifteen-year old Bunsy Malone, the matriarch of The Motleys, will be going in to see Dr Kanfer at the clinic tomorrow for another dental procedure. She has them approximately every six weeks. Last time, it was fairly involved, and a really nasty molar came out, so we’re hoping for some good news tomorrow, and that maybe she won’t have to have a procedure under anesthesia, just a bit of light sedation and a snip. Fingers crossed, because sedation in general is always risky, but at 15 years old it’s a definite worry. Even for a trooper like Bunsy.
