I know this is a Band-Aid on a bullet hole solution but I’m asking if you would be willing to donate $36 for me to buy a 40 pound bag of dog food to share with Lighthouse ministries downtown San Jose? They run a food pantry and also go into local San Jose homeless encampments to offer human and dog food. The donation I made this morning is 120 pounds of dog food that I bought from a local family run pet food store. I broke down the food into quart size bags and I’m happy to report this will feed 142 dogs 3 to 5 meals per quart bags depending on the dog size. Your consideration of a $36 donation is simply a bridge for me to getting reliable donors in partnership with Lighthouse like Chewy, Petsmart and Humane Society Silicon Valley to agree to donate regularly to the food pantry. As an added bonus it’s my 36th birthday tomorrow and it’s my birthday wish feed needy pets. Thank you very very much! My Venmo is or dog food may be dropped off directly to Lighthouse.
