Felix is safe…
Things are looking up for the boy. We’ll be sure to keep everyone posted on his progress.
Let’s talk about stray dogs…
It’s been nearly five years of not having affordable access to spay and neuter surgeries in Santa Clara County. At the same time the price of regular vet services have drastically increased. The combination has led to an unwanted pet population crisis. The shelter and every rescue operation we’ve been in contact with is currently operating over capacity and unable to take in any new dogs. That being said, if you are unable to hang on to a stray dog for as long as it takes to either find its owners or a new home, I strongly urge you not to take that dog into your care. We can offer support, we can attempt to connect you with a qualified foster, but there is a good chance we will not be able to take that dog off your hands and the same goes for the shelter. We need to come together as a community and figure out a way to fix our current spay/neuter problem if we ever hope to get out of this crisis. Until then, please understand what it means to take a stray dog into your care. For those heroes who are willing to see it through, we will back you up to the best of our ability.
Mission accomplished…
This morning we delivered all of the donations we’ve collected over the last few weeks to https://pupswithoutborders.org/
They are doing the hard work of distributing supplies to pets and pet parents who need it the most right now. Extremely grateful for the work they do and happy to help in anyway.
Thank you so much to everybody who donated. Special thank you to our friends at Ganado Feed & Pet Supplies and Love & Second Chances for making this happen.
Teamwork makes the dream work!
We are off to LA Wednesday evening to deliver all of these donations to Pups Without Borders https://pupswithoutborders.org/ for pets and pet parents affected by the LA wildfires. There is still time to donate. You can drop stuff in the donation bins located at either Ganado Feed & Pet Supplies location or DM to drop stuff off to us directly.
BAYLEY IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
Welp, I think this girl is finally ready to find her forever home. We still want to wait another month or so to get her fixed so she fills out a bit. She’s getting stronger every day. Gonna be hard to let this one go, but she deserves to be somebody’s number one. If you or someone you know is looking to adopt the perfect dog please DM or email us at: [email protected]
We have to show the work and we want to inspire, but we don’t need to be sticking cameras in people’s faces… these dogs ain’t got no choice though!
COLLECTING STUFF TO HOOK UP THA PUPS!!! We got supply drops scheduled with the tiny houses, encampments and we’ll be with sanjosefoos for their annual toy drive next weekend.
