Zwinger vom Donau-Ries German Shepherds

We are a small breeding kennel located in San Jose, CA. We breed German Shepherd Dogs to the German standard.

This means all of our dogs have working titles, show ratings, breed surveys and hip/elbow certifications.

For some reason I am the only one in the family that can get their Lilac bushes to bloom. Three of them! They bring back fond memories of the “Stabenfest” in my home town in Germany. I love the smell and wish they would bloom longer.

Update:
1 male and the female have found their forever home. We now have the almost 10month old large sable male and a beautiful black & tan male available.

Available teenagers: 2 7mth old males, 1 7mth female, and one 8mth old sable male. All are crate trained, microchipped and have their puppy shots(no rabies yet). They are very sweet and love people.
If you rather skip the baby puppy stage, then one of these might be good for you.

Dakota whelped 5males/3females yesterday. Django von der Pflochsbacher Schmiede is the sire. These are dark red sables and will be gorgeous. Who wants a pretty working dog???

Aura vom Donau-Ries
We entered her last second for her AD last weekend. The AD is a endurance test for the dog. Dogs have to complete 3 legs (5miles, 4miles, 3miles) for a total of 12 miles. Most handlers run their dogs next to a bike, but on a rare occasion roller blades have been used. Unfortunately, electric bikes are not yet allowed.
