Let’s Help Rosalie’s last wish come true.

Nike Animal Rescue Foundation has lost a longtime foster volunteer of 30+ years, Rosalie Kull. Rose, knowing she was fading fast, expressed her only concern “I am worried about my cats”.

Rose Kull passed away on April 26th. On this day, as well as the days and weeks before, she expressed to most people she spoke to, of her overwhelming concern for het cats.

She loved and devoted every day to them. They gave her comfort and love. She would say, “I can’t die, what will happen to my cats”.

Rose was just about to turn 85. Literally her last wish earlier that day was “Please take care of my cats and find them forever homes.” So, all of us here at NARF are aiming to do just that.

The kitties range from 13-15 years old. They are in good health and inside only cats. We have a senior to senior program. When a senior adopts a senior cat Nike Animal Rescue will pay their medical bills for life and adoption fees are waived.

Cole: Male, approximately 8 years old. Cole was a stray neighborhood cat. Cole was one of her favorites. He would come and sit with her, give her kisses and wanted pets. He wanted all her attention and struggled to share with the other 6 cats. Very friendly and social.

Marcie: Birth date 2008. A Female Siamese mix with long hair. Rescued as a kitten when she was very young. She would always suck on her toes while sitting on Rose’s lap. She’s social, friendly and gets along with other cats. Marcie, once she knows you will want to suck her toes while sitting on your lap.

Bobby: Male, Gray Marble Tabby. Birthdate 8/2010, he is a mellow laid-back guy. He’s shy at first. His buddy is Jack and he is good with other cats.

Jack: Male, Gray Tabby Tux. Birthdate 3/30/10, Jack is vocal and likes his buddy Bobby. Jack would lay beside Rose while sitting on the couch. He is good with other cats.

**TEMPORARY CHANGE IN HOURS**

Due to the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order, we will temporarily closed on Sundays (effective as of March 22nd) and open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. During this time period, we will only be scheduling appointments for urgent or sick patients to limit public exposure to our staff. For after hour emergencies, please contact MedVet of Silicon Valley at (408) 649-7070 or SAGE Veterinary Centers in Campbell at (408) 343-7243. Please call us during our business hours if you have any questions or concerns about your pet. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

03/17/2020

At the Evergreen Veterinary Clinic, our priority is the public health safety of you and our staff during the COVID-19 “shelter-in-place” order directed effective March 17 to April 7, 2020 by the Health Officer of the County of Santa Clara. In our effort to keep our clinic open to provide care for our pet patients while protecting ourselves and the public, we are instituting the following guidelines:

1. Our schedule is open to see any sick or urgent patient.
2 To limit public exposure to our staff, we are rescheduling all non-sick, routine appointments that have been pre-booked through April 7.
3. All elective surgeries and dentals will be rescheduled.
4. We are always available for phone consultations.
5. When you do arrive, we may ask you to wait in your car, so we can keep our lobby safe for all (to maintain 6 feet of social distancing).
6. Please do not personally come to our clinic with your pet if you or a member of your family has a fever, cough, or cold-like symptoms. If you are ill and cannot find another person to bring in your sick pet, please call us when you arrive in the
parking lot. To limit exposure, we may take your pet to be treated and ask you to remain in your vehicle.

When you do arrive at the clinic, be assured that we have implemented additional sanitizing procedures to meet the CDC recommendations, including disinfecting surfaces more
frequently, especially those touched by the public, such as door handles and our front counters. For our staff, we are recommending frequent hand washing and the use of hand sanitizer. We have asked our staff not to come to work if they or someone in their family is sick, coughing or has a fever. Finally, we thank you for your understanding such that we can be available to help you and your sick pets during this time period. Let us all work together to protect our staff, our
families, and all of you in our community.
