You guys!! It is my honor to be celebrating my recent Graduates Emily, Frankie, and their amazing Golden Retriever Scottie!

What an incredible journey this has been with these three! Over the course of their training, we worked on shaping calm behavior, mastering loose-leash walking, building solid public manners, place work, recall and understanding the importance of dog neutrality. Watching their progress unfold was nothing short of amazing and I am soooooo PROUD of them.

Emily and Frankie came to every session so eager to learn and grow. These two are seriously ROCKSTARS!! The questions they asked were thoughtful and intentional, always making it clear to me just how much they cared about being the best leaders possible for Scottie and giving him the opportunities to reach his fullest potential.

I’m so happy with what we’ve accomplished together. Seeing Scottie transform into a dog with polite manners, confidence, and bad ass new skills has been a joy to watch. And we’re not done yet!

I’m so excited to continue working with this team as we focus on off-leash reliability and prepare Scottie for his next big goal: becoming a therapy dog.

Congratulations, Emily, Frankie, and Scottie! It’s been an honor to be part of your journey, and I can’t wait to take you to the next level of your goals!

Join me in giving a warm welcome to Wyatt, the stunning German Shepherd-Malinois mix who has joined Little Wolf Canine Academy for training!

Wyatt is a high drive boy with amazing energy and a zest for life. His dedicated owner, Jenn is ready to put in the work and I couldn’t be more excited to help them grow together in bond and mutual understanding.

Jenn has a beautiful dream: To be able to fully share her life with her dog in public settings without the fear and stress of Wyatt’s reactivity. We are already a few sessions in and taking the steps to pave the way to making her dream come true.

Our Training Focus:

✅ Shaping balance and neutrality around other dogs.

✅ Addressing Wyatt’s reactivity with new tools of communication, providing plenty of structured jobs to fulfill his working breed drive and teaching him balanced outlets to release his energy.

✅ Mixing focused learning with plenty of play to keep his drive channeled productively and keep it fun!

Im so excited to train with Wyatt as his DNA blend provides him with intelligence, a great work ethic, a high drive for learning and adaptability. These traits mean Wyatt’s new lifestyle will include plenty of mental stimulation, clear structure, and appropriate outlets for his natural energy and instincts to ensure a lifetime of balance and success.

Wishing a warm welcome to Sailor, this stunner has joined for training at Little Wolf Canine Academy!

Sailor is a young, energetic Australian Shepherd with a huge play drive and personality to match his name, as this handsome dog is as BOLD as the waves that crash in the open sea.

Sailor is here to work on foundational obedience, including managing his incredible jumping skills (yes, he’s a leaper!) and shaping his over-excitement and reactivity around other dogs into calmness and neutrality.

By the way, did you notice his gorgeous eyes? Sailor has heterochromia—his DNA makes each eye a different color! As an added cool factor, he has heterochromia in both eyes PLUS a single eye! Let’s say Sailor knows how to create a captivating look!

Let’s talk a little about breed fulfillment. Even though Sailor is a pet dog, he is still a High-Drive Breed
designed for hard work and intense focus. He especially needs both mental and physical stimulation to thrive.

Without proper outlets for his energy, Aussies are especially known to develop behavioral issues and find their own (often destructive) ways to entertain themselves.

Aussies are brilliant dogs who require consistent engagement, lots of structured play, exercise and problem-solving activities to stay happy, balanced, and well-behaved. These elements will be a large part of Sailor’s training journey to ensure he has what he needs as a lifestyle.

I love witnessing every single year that passes by and the gifts each one presents in the development and evolution of me as a person.

2024 was my reflective, high preparation, cocoon year, going deeply inward and taking a lot of necessary time to myself in order to shed the coat of what was, and make space for the growth and changes the New 2025 Year has been eagerly waiting to bring.

I feel ready. ✨

I feel open. ✨

I feel inspired. ✨

I feel grateful for the new opportunities, collaborations, and growth taking place both personally and professionally that are soon to come.

2025 is going to be my year of CONNECTION and I could not be more eager to be a part of it with all of you.

This very special Congratulations goes out to my recent graduates Dave and his dog Teo. I am SO PROUD of these two as the evolution this team had along their training journey was life changing!

Teo’s journey has been nothing short of inspiring.
Originally an islander dog, Teo made the big leap from Hawaii to California, a transition that brought with it some environmental fears. These fears often turned walks into overwhelming moments for Teo, sending him into flight mode, and in turn making it overwhelming for his Dave to take Teo out on walks due to his behavior’s. But Dave had a dream: to share his life with Teo, enjoying adventures together downtown and out on the lake, creating memories and an unshakeable companionship.

Through consistent training, Dave and Teo built something remarkable: A bond built on TRUST.

The strategic foundation was creating a Leader | Follower relationship sourced through confidence building exercises and play that gave Teo fulfillment and security.

Utilizing the best tools to support our goals via the crate and place work was another important aspect , allowingTeo to thrive in having his own special chill spots.

Focused walks with structure and plenty of jobs to follow shifted Teo’s mindset from panicked to purposeful, with Dave guiding him every step of the way.

At graduation, Dave was thrilled to experience the ultimate payoff: a peaceful outing to a public space, where he was able to enjoy coffee while Teo relaxed confidently doing place work . Watching this duo shine together was the ultimate reward for me!

Cheers to Teo and Dave for showing what dedication, love, and trust can accomplish. Here’s to many more adventures together!

🌟 It is my honor to send a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to my recent graduates Lindsay , Robert and their amazing, beautiful pup Eloise! 🌟

Lindsay has been a longtime client and dedicated participant in the training journey through multiple generations of dogs. Her latest addition, Eloise—a spirited Bernese Mountain Dog puppy—has been an absolute joy to work with! Full of love, life, and just the right amount of fiesty s***k, Eloise perfectly embodies the sweetness and charm that Berners are known for.

Fun Fact About Bernese Mountain Dogs: They were originally bred as working dogs in the Swiss Alps!
Their gentle temperament, loyalty, and patience make them exceptional family companions.

They’re affectionate, adaptable, and great with kids which was a main reason Lindsay and Robert picked the Berner as their breed of choice to ensure they found the right companion for their toddler. Research is key before selecting any breed to ensure its traits and fulfillment needs are the right match for your lifestyle .

With a young child to care for, their second dog who is a playful Samoyed named Stanley, and busy schedules, Lindsay and Robert have a lot on their plates! Despite this, they’ve prioritized training from the get go, knowing the long term benefits giving time to training brings to their family dynamic.

We have accomplished so much along the journey and I could not be more proud of them and the leaders they choose to be day after day!!

Eloise is now stepping into her next phase of real world training as her family integrates what they’ve learned into daily life. From downtown coffee shop adventures to place work at public venues, they’re building lasting memories with their new foundation of obedience .

Congrats to my incredible clients on their hard work and dedication! 🎉🐾 Way to go Lindsay, Robert and Eloise!!

🎉 Sending a HUGE Congratulations to Chai who has recently graduated from the Puppy Foundational Obedience Program 🎉

It has been so much fun being a part of Chai’s training journey with her starting off as a VERY SPIRITED puppy (she is a Rat Terrier after all! ) and evolving into a young adult dog with some solid skills as a result of her owners Jacob and Michael’s dedication to the process.

For those who aren’t familiar with the Rat Terrier, they are BURSTING with personality! This breed is known for their intelligence, energy, and loyalty, but they can also be quite a handful as puppies. Chai has been no exception—her clever mind and boundless curiosity kept us all on our toes and gave us plenty of laughs.

While raising a Rat Terrier comes with unique challenges, Jacob and Michael’s unwavering commitment to her success made all the difference, consistently giving Chai the tools she needed to grow into a happy, balanced adult dog.

I couldn’t be more proud of Chai’s progress or of her owner Jacob for stepping into puppyhood after the loss of his beloved Sitka. It’s no small feat to raise a puppy, especially when followed by the closing chapter of a special dog from your past.

Jacob, your dedication and heart have truly shined throughout this process and Sitka would be proud of the PHENOMENAL leader you continue to be.

Here’s to Chai, Jacob, and Michael—your hard work and love are setting the foundation for an incredible future. I can’t wait to see how far you’ll go together! 🐾✨

🥝Everyone, Welcome Kiwi!! 🥝

This stunning doodle has already overcome so much and is ready to write a new story for her present and future! Rescued from a hoarder’s house, she’s now in the loving hands of her dedicated new owners Ally and Heather who are fully committed to giving her the structure, leadership, and guidance she needs to feel safe and secure.

Our training journey with Kiwi will focus on helping her come out of her shell and gently work through her fears of people and new environments. We’ll be taking it slow, prioritizing bond building and trust as our foundation and every step of the way as we introduce her to new challenges.

To start her on the right path, Place work has been the key introduction as a powerful tool to provide Kiwi with a safe space to relax in various settings.

Kiwi is also lucky to have a wonderful packmate, Kaya, a seasoned Shiba Inu who has been a fantastic guide.

These two girls already share a beautiful bond! Kiwi lights up with Kaya’s experienced presence, and Kaya loves having a new pack companion ! 💛

I’m thrilled to watch Kiwi’s transformation and witness the growth and confidence she’ll achieve with her incredible owners leading her in cool, calm, confident energy.

The journey ahead is bright for this sweet girl, and I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it.

This adorable Maltipoo might be small in size, but she’s got a New York-size personality to match her energy for daaaayzzzzz! ✨

We’re diving into foundational obedience training, focusing on the essentials like staying calm and—ahem—learning to sit still (work in progress 😉). Boundaries are a big part of our plan too, as her amazing owner Samantha prepares for an exciting new chapter—becoming a mom! 💕👶

Already halfway through her sessions, so much success has already happened toward our goals and Poppy’s family could not be happier with the results! This amazing dog is thriving with her training, and I couldn’t be prouder of her progress! 🌟🐶

Poppy’s journey is all about finding balance, building trust, and setting her up for success in her growing family. Let’s do this, Poppy! Luv u gurl. 😘

Say hello to this playful and adventurous doodle who’s already making strides in his training journey! This clever guy is working on foundational obedience and doing an amazing job mastering the walk while focusing on what matters most: his incredible owners, Joey and Sarah.

🌟 Fun Fact About Doodles: Doodles are known for their intelligence and adaptability, making them quick learners. Combine that with their affectionate nature, and you’ve got a breed that’s as fun to train as they are to have as a companion.

I have been so impressed by Joey and Sarah’s thoughtfulness and responsibility as new dog owners. They sought out training with me even before bringing Archie home, it was such a wonderful way to set everyone up for success!

🌟 Welcoming Scottie, the newest (and handsomest!) Golden Retriever of the Little Wolf pack!

This dreamy creamsicle is a total heart-stealer with his playful confidence and absolutely charming personality that lights up every training session we do. 🧡

Did you know? Golden Retrievers are known for their loyalty, intelligence, and complete love for life’s adventures.

They were originally bred for retrieving wild game, making them natural-born swimmers and apt to put EVERYTHING in their mouth to carry around proudly!

Growing up with several Goldens myself, I’ve always had a soft spot for this amazing sweet tempered breed.

A huge shoutout to Scottie’s owners, Frankie and Emily for their incredible dedication to his training so far.

We are already a few session in and their thoughtful questions, commitment, and love for Scottie truly shine through in their commitment to doing the work and trusting the process.

It’s official!! ✅ The pack just completed their first rainy day pack walk of the season, and it was nothing short of exhilarating!

There’s something magical about stepping out with the pack in the rain – the scent of fresh earth, the cold air, crimson fallen leaves, and the energy that only a rainy day brings. 🌲💦

The dogs loved it of course, enjoying walking through puddles and soaking up the new smells.

Days like these remind me of the joy in life’s simple moments. Everytime I go outside, no matter what the weather, I am always refreshed and happy I did. Especially when I get to share it with these amazing dogs!!

🐾 Welcome, Lennox! 🐾

I am thrilled to welcome Lennox, an adorable, high-spirited Cockapoo, to the Little Wolf Puppy Foundational Program!

This little guy is gifted with both soul and swagger, is full of energy, curiosity, and so much charm—he’s already bringing tons of joy to his family and all who get to know him !

Want to learn more about this breed? Here are a few fun facts about Cockapoos:

✨ They’re a mix of Cocker Spaniel and Poodle, combining the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle with the sweet, playful nature of the Cocker Spaniel.

✨ Cockapoos are known for their affectionate personalities and do very well as a family dog. They’re great with kids and have a high play drive making it a great opportunity to bond with the young humans of the household.

✨ They’re quick learners, which makes training so rewarding, catching onto new skills easily , always ready for the next challenge.

Raising a puppy is an exciting adventure, and it’s important to start right away with the basics! Here are a few essential tips for puppy owners:

1️⃣ Build Confidence: Providing structure and plenty of leadership direction from day shapes a confident puppy to grow into a balanced adult dog. Most puppies are given wayyyyyyy too much freedom too soon and affection over direction. Eliminate the confusion and limit freedom until your pup is ready for that. Reinforce behaviors you do want and redirect the ones you don’t.

2️⃣ Routine and Boundaries: Set a consistent schedule for crate time throughout the day, feeding, potty breaks, and bedtime. Puppies thrive on structure and need a LOT of sleep. By having a routine, you set your puppy up for success.

3️⃣ Gentle Handling and Basic Manners: Practice handling your puppy’s paws, ears, and tail early on, and start with basic commands to lay the foundation for good behavior. Just as importantly, teach the kids of the household how to properly give affection. No hugging, squeezing, or kissing the face.

One of my absolute favorite breeds is the majestic and loyal German Shepherd. I have always loved and enjoyed training this highly intelligent, motivated working breed and have to admit my heart goes pitter patter every time a Shepherd comes my way. Therefore it is my absolute pleasure to introduce to all of you the STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS Haikoo who has recently joined the Little Wolf Pack for training !! 💗😍🥰 Haikoo is a 3 year old German Shepherd who comes from a regal bloodline, having been born in Germany then traveling to the US to be united with her dedicated owners Krishna and Archana. @nikrishnaa @archana.jaganathan We are a few sessions in and have already begun setting the foundation by providing boundaries , rules and structure in the home as well as utilizing crate training & a crate schedule. Additional layers will involve building real world skills so this girl can proudly walk with a loose leash by her owners side in a FOLLOW mindset , as well as redirecting her reactivity to dogs and her environment to one of neutrality, balance and calmness. True to her breed, Haikoo has shown so much willingness to follow direction and learn new things so far. She’s an absolute dream to work with and I am SO EXCITED for what’s to come in her journey.
