Happy New Year! We hope you’re feeling rejuvenated after the long break and are ready to dive back into training or begin a new training experience!! A new year is the perfect time to set fresh goals, build on your progress, and strengthen the bond you share with your dog!
Registration is now open for our January session, and we’d love to see you back in class. This session starts on January 15/16 and will run for six contiguous weeks, ending on February 19/20. All classes this session will be held indoors at Furrtropolis.
Whether you’re looking to refine your dog’s skills, tackle new challenges, or just enjoy the structure of training, our updated catalog has something for everyone. If there’s a class you’re interested in but don’t see in the catalog, please write back and let us know. If there’s sufficient interest, we might be able to add it to our schedule!

TCDTC has 2 spots left in our new Fit Dog class. This class, based on the AKC Fit Dog Titling Program, is a playful disguise for foundational fitness skills that will keep your pup moving, stretching, and thinking, with joy. It will serve as an excellent introduction to Canine Fitness, catering to pets and sports dogs alike. The significant advantage is preparing both dog and handler for a full conditioning program, with AKC approved syllabus for each of the three available levels.

This class will be taught by Kathleen Childers, who is an AKC certified Fit Dog Instructor. In addition, she is also a Certified Canine Fitness Instructor (CCFT) through the FitPaws/University of Tennessee.
