Update on Smokey! 🐕🐾
Smokey is doing very well! He visited the vet clinic for his post-op to check out his staples, and everything looked great so he got them removed. He’s able to walk and put more weight on his leg, and finally has his cone off too. Smokey handled the vet visit amazingly, he is such a patient and sweet boy, areal trooper! 💛🐶
We were wondering if Hazel and Margo ( formerly Cashew) would recognise each other, after a long break. Both pups live at different foster homes not too close to each other, so they have not seen each other for a couple of months. Yesterday was a great day, both of them got to meet, and have a lot of fun! Both were so happy to see each other and enjoyed playing together so much!
Please check our Hazel's adoption profile, and apply to meet her, if would like to add a furry friend to your family!

Margo is at foster to adopt home already. We only were able to save them because foster families stepped up to help hosting these girls.
Please, foster if you can, fostering can save lives.
Thank you to all who supports rescues.

Are you having a Good morning? :)
We are so pleased to share that Hazelnut is having a wonderful morning. She was recently rescued from a shelter with a high euthanasia rate and has faced some challenges since being saved. Alongside her three siblings, after being rescued she battled airway infections and UTIs, receiving the necessary treatments. When rescued, they were all also underweight, but thanks to the care of our loving volunteers, Hazelnut is feeling fantastic now.
At just 1-1.5 years old, Hazelnut is learning to be more confident and trusting towards people. After a month of dedicated care, she's on the path to recovery and happiness. Soon, she'll be spayed and ready for adoption, bringing joy to a new loving home. 😊🐾💕

🐶💙Update on Forest! Our apologies for the delays.
Forest has recently been placed in a foster home. He still exhibits signs of anxiety around food, devouring his meals quickly, possibly due to fear of not having enough to eat in the future. Due to a jaw issue, he can only consume soft and liquid foods. Although he may appear a bit anxious and protective around other dogs, he is incapable of causing harm as his jaw prevents him from biting. Forest's mouth doesn't fully close nor open completely, resulting in constant dryness and a higher frequency of drinking water. Currently, he still remains quite underweight, but he is on a positive trajectory and is expected to gain weight soon.
When he arrived at foster care home, a trace on his hind paw was noticed by his foster, potentially indicating previous mistreatment involving a wire. This observation suggests that Forest may have endured mistreatment or human cruelty, possibly resulting in his jaw impairment. While no concrete evidence exists, it remains a possibility given the absence of other information. Additionally, one of his eyes only partially opens, and it's uncertain if he has impaired vision. We plan to consult with an optometrist to address this concern.
Overall, Forest has made significant progress compared to his emaciated state when he was rescued approximately 1.5 months ago. While he still has a way to go, his journey of recovery has been remarkable.
Thank you so much for donating, and wishing him to recover! this helped with the costs and medical stay at the caring facility. We are sincerely grateful to you 🙏
Forest's improvements would not be possible without your kind help, his hospital stay was crucial in helping him gain strength for the recovery ! We will be updating you on Forest’s progress!
Thank you for your kind help.
