I provide quality hot and cold shoeing, treating each job as corrective shoeing. This means, I'm not just simply replacing the shoe each time. I take the time to truly examine your horse's growth and wear patterns, making sure each hoof stays correctly balanced which is so important in keeping your horse comfortable and sound. I provide the same great care for every horse, from top per

formers and working ranch horses to backyard and rescue horses. I adapt my handling to comfort horses who have had previous bad experiences. My background in riding (Jumping, Dressage and now Western) allows me to understand your needs. I feel the key to my success has been my formal college education combined with a long-term apprenticeship and high level of continuing education which lets me keep up with changes not only in veterinary medicine, but in technology advances. These reasons along with the fact that I truly love shoeing horses, has made my business a success. History
Established in 1997
I've been riding since the age of 12, and started horseshoeing in 1989 when I felt the need to learn to put a shoe back on because of the lack of reliability of my previous horseshoers. I couldn't wait for days for the farrier to show up and have the horses in training laid up. So I started an apprenticeship and then went back to France for a horse science degree in college. While I kept working in the horse industry, I was shoeing on the side. In1996, I came back to the states and continued an extensive apprenticeship with a couple of world renowned horseshoers before starting my own business. After starting out in San Mateo county and North Santa Clara County in early 2002, I moved south and expanded my business to South county and Monterey county.
