This weekend we look forward to the arrival of a cattle dog mix mom and her 9 three-week old puppies, all the way from Oklahoma. Rescued from a breeding compound, the local shelter could not accommodate these pets but reached out to help transport them to our rescue. A total of 30 rescue animals will be coming into Boulevard Pet Hospital and will be seen by the veterinarians for general health check-ups, vaccinations, general procedures, and overall care.
Combined with support from Norcal Animal Rescue Friends, Boulevard Pet Hospital, and Schwartz Family Animal Welfare Foundation, along with volunteers, we can all help find their forever homes.
Support from our generous donors is the engine that makes our organization run and allows us to effect positive change and save lives. It not only takes a village of volunteers to save the life of an animal, it also requires a village of generous donors who believe in our mission.
The ongoing public health crisis in the United States has impacted the lives of so many families and pets alike. It has also impacted the ability of nonprofits like ours to effectively fundraise and hold events. Every donation counts now more than ever.
Our standard adoption fee does not cover the cost of vetting and transport of a healthy dog 1500 miles across the country to our waiting arms, and the senior pets that we love to save cost many times more in veterinary costs than we receive back in adoption fees.
Generous donors like you help us fill that gap and allow our work to continue. Donate below to make a fully deductible donation to the Schwartz Family Animal Welfare Foundation, which will be used directly for this rescue from Oklahoma. We can accept electronic donations via PayPal or credit card. We can also accept checks mailed to 1555 S. Wi******er Blvd., San Jose, CA 95128.
Thanks again for your support!
