✨ Interscholastic Eventing League (IEL) ✨

IEL is a USEA program that aims to increase engagement, education and membership among riders who are rising 5th through outgoing 12th grades. ✨

This year Auburn, under the IEL Affiliate name Excell Equestrian Team, is returning as a proud IEL participant & Eventing Coaches Program (ECP) Level IV coach! ✨

IEL Team Challenges are additions to USEA recognized horse trials with teams of 3 to 4 riders, and still compete in their divisions as individual competitors. Teams consist of riders of any level, and if affiliates have less than 3 riders competing the organizing committee can form scrambled teams among affiliates. ✨

This year the Excell Equestrian Team IEL affiliate includes and Louise Balaze! ✨

Excited for a fun year of team camaraderie! 🎉

Jackpot VG had a super 2023 being piloted by owner & Auburn!

Eri added two more horse trials wins to Jack’s resumé at Twin Rivers & Shepherd Ranch in Novice Rider divisions, while Auburn piloted the Dutch Warmblood to a win in Open Training at Galway Downs in August & a 3rd place finish in the Modified/Training division at The Eventing Championships at Galway Downs in November! 🏆

Their first horse trials together saw them place 3rd in Junior Beginner Novice Rider in May, a 6th place completion at Twin Rivers Summer Horse Trials in June in Beginner Novice Rider, and a successful move up to Novice in November at Galway Downs for an 8th place finish in Novice Rider! 🎉🎉
