✨🐾 A HUGE Thank You to Mathis Home & FOX 11 Los Angeles! 🐾✨

Yesterday was nothing short of magical! Despite the wild weather, Mathis Home didn’t miss a beat — they instantly shifted gears and moved our entire adoption event indoors, creating the most warm, festive, and welcoming space for our pups and rescue partners. 💛

From the Santa Paws photos 🎅🐶 to the pup cup station (a crowd favorite!) and the incredible turnout of adopters, the day was packed with joy, wagging tails, and so many forever-home connections. 🏡💕

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to FOX 11 News for coming out to film the event and helping spotlight the wonderful dogs across all participating rescues. Their support helps spread awareness and brings these deserving pups one step closer to finding the loving families they deserve. 📺🐾

Thanks to the generosity and support of Mathis Home and FOX 11 News, it was an incredibly successful adoption event — one we’ll be talking about all season long. ✨

✨ Second Chance Saturday! ✨

Today we’re celebrating Lady ( ) from East Valley Shelter in Los Angeles — because this sweet girl just took her FREEDOM WALK! 🐾💛

Lady trotted right out of the shelter with the cutest little prance, ears perked, tail going, and a whole new life ahead of her. She’s finally safe, loved, and on her way to her second chance.

Ready for your weekend dose of pure happiness? Join us this Sunday for Puppy Yoga — a 45-minute gentle, all-levels yoga class filled with puppy cuddles, wiggles, kisses, and photo-worthy moments. 💛

💖 MEDICAL FOSTER NEEDED for MEGHAN 💖

Sweet Meghan is a small Jack Russell Terrier mix who’s healing from a broken hip — and she’s doing amazing! She just needs a few more weeks of quiet recovery time in a loving home.

🏡 What Meghan needs:
• A calm, dog-free home (she’d do best without other pets right now)
• A cozy space where she can rest and heal — short potty breaks and gentle yard time are fine, but no running, jumping, or long walks yet
• Someone home often enough to offer plenty of TLC 💕

She’s small to medium size, sweet as can be, and so deserving of comfort while she finishes her recovery.

Update: Adopted 🎉
⭐️MAX⭐️
We are bookending Max’s name in stars because.. well.. that’s exactly what he is- an absolute STAR of a dog 🥰

Max is a 1 yr old Doberman mix and let us just tell you that he is PERFECT. Literally.

Max is as easy going as they come- he adores people and loves kids- he lovvves to snuggle too. He has yet to meet another dog that wasn’t his immediate best friend. He is completely non- reactive on leash and rarely barks. He is super happy to go with the flow- rides nicely in the car, sleeps beautifully at night, and just an all around easy, EASY dog. ❤️

Max is that lovely medium/large dog that has a dainty build at 50 lbs, and would do amazing in a home with another dog, or would also be totally fine as the solo star. He is so adaptable and will make such a great companion for anyone.

If you or anyone you know is in the market for a dog- please meet Max. You will fall in love immediately and he will be one of those soul dogs you have no idea how you ever lived without him.

🐾 Meet Scooby 🐾
Just look at that face! Scooby is one handsome, happy, fun-loving boy who’s ready to find his forever home. 💛

He loves adventures just as much as he loves his naps — fetch, the dog park, car rides, you name it! He’s affectionate, loyal, and adores being near his people.

Scooby knows some basic commands, is fully potty trained, and has never needed a crate — he’s that good! He is great with kids and other dogs (especially ones his size), but would do best in a home with no cats since he can’t resist the urge to chase.

He tends to bond more quickly with women and may take a few days to warm up to men in the household — he just needs a little patience and kindness to feel safe.

Scooby would thrive in a home with a yard, another friendly dog, or someone who works from home and wants a playful companion by their side. He’s the kind of dog who will make you laugh every day and love you endlessly.

He’s ready to meet his match — could that be you? 💫

Safe on Sunday! ✨

Blair , Victoria , and Amor are out of Downey Animal Shelter — one of Southern California’s high-intake, high-kill shelters. Two of these sweet girls were scheduled to be euthanized, but instead, all three are safe and free! 💕

And the best news is that all 3 have been adopted! 🎉

Huge thanks to the committed fosters, adopters, transporters, and rescue partners who made this possible. Because of your compassion and teamwork, three more precious lives were saved. ❤️

Cheers to your best lives ahead, girls! 🥂
