✨FOSTER OR ADOPTERS NEEDED✨
These 3 little 7-8 week old lab mixes were being given away for free alongside a freeway entrance ramp in LA. We shudder to think what their fate might’ve been if our friends hadn’t stepped in to save them.
We have 1 male and 2 females looking for an immediate foster or better yet, potential adopters.

Luna is a 4-year-old Staffordshire-Pit mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will brighten your days! She’s a happy-go-lucky, 45-pound bundle of joy who was raised in a loving home with another dog and two children. Luna is a true social butterfly—dog-friendly both on and off leash, kid-friendly but preferably 3 and older (especially with children who understand good dog manners), and completely human-friendly, too!

She’s a low-maintenance girl who needs just one good walk a day before she’s content to lounge around the house, cuddling up with her humans. Luna is goofy and affectionate, always ready to make you laugh with her silly antics. She knows her basic commands—come, sit, and go to bed—and walks beautifully on a loose leash. She’s spayed, microchipped, and fully vetted/up to date on shots.

Luna’s life so far has been filled with love, stability, and care. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, and no fault of her own, Luna needs a new home.

We can't believe gorgeous KAIA hasn't found her forever home, yet! She's an amazing girl, playful and loving: loves playing with other dogs (is often the submissive one) and is just as happy playing on her own or hanging with her people. For a puppy, she's actually pretty chill.
She's sometimes a little shy when she first meets someone new but gets over that pretty quickly. Want to hold her? She'll lay her head on your shoulder and give you kisses. Want to nap? She'll nap with you! She seems to really like kids and gets along with cats, too!
Kaia is doing great in her potty training and sleeps through the night in a crate.
Kaia is a shepherd mix, currently about 3 months old, and weighs in at 19 lbs. She would love a home with another dog to play with or some children to play with, an active household that will include her in activities during the day and snuggle with her in the evenings.

✨FOSTER NEEDED!✨

Arianna and Chiara are 2 of the sweetest puppies and need a new foster home. They were in a temp foster home for the holidays and now need to move to a new spot to continue blossoming and get ready for their forever homes!
PRO TIP: It’s actually much easier to foster 2 puppies instead of 1- they keep each other company, snuggle up to stay warm, and play together to wear each other out! But if you can just take 1 pup that’s ok too!

If interested in fostering one (or both!) of these little 10 week old pups we would really appreciate the help. We provide every single thing you need- ALL supplies, food, and cover all vet costs. They just need a safe and cozy place to land and lots of love for a short time before they are adopted.

UPDATE - FOSTER FOUND!!
✨FOSTER NEEDED✨
Our sweet boy Dasher who was rescued a few weeks ago from euthanasia due to a ruptured eye, has had his eye removal surgery and now needs a soft place to land while he heals.
We are looking for a foster home who can help him rest and recover and get him ready for adoption! Dasher is a 4yr old French Bulldog who had been through a lot and we need somewhere for him to go.
If you can step up and help this little boy in need we would be grateful!

OK Blanca. We see you and all your absolute PERFECTION. 😍
This is BLANCA, one of our female puppies from a recent litter of staffie/pittie mix pups and we are…Obsessed. Look at her!!!
Blanca is a 10 week old ball of love. She has spectacular markings, piercing blue eyes and even the makings of a heart shaped nose coming in. She loves to snuggle up in your lap, loves her other two foster pup siblings, wags her little tail and wiggly body when she meets new people. Her foster mom says she is the sweetest pup who steals the hearts of everyone she meets (clearly.)
Blanca is ready for adoption and would love to find a home where she can get all the snuggles and be a cherished member of the family.

Sometimes Christmas miracles really do happen, and we have an extra special one to share today!

Born into our rescue, and waiting for more than a year for her family to come…we are so grateful to share that ANNA, our longest resident at P4P finally found her forever home!
Some dogs take longer than others, but we believe there is the right home out there for every dog. Anna is fitting in so beautifully with her adopters, and even has dog siblings to play with!
We couldn’t be happier for our girl, and for all the dogs that were lucky enough to find homes this holiday!
A resounding “cheers to the good life” for Anna… she did it! 🎉🎉

Just in time for the holidays- please welcome 8 week old Shnoodle (best guess!) puppies Drake and Mack!

DRAKE and MACK were abandoned at the South La shelter earlier this week, scared to death of such an overwhelming place. Thanks to a dedicated foster, we were able to scoop them up and get them to a warm and loving home!
These two boys are decompressing nicely and learning that they’ve just hit the jackpot with only good things from here on out. 💖

Please welcome our very happy girl Marina!
MARINA A1830144 was rescued from the Riverside shelter this week where her time was up, simply because there are too many dogs in shelters.
Marina is around a year old, spayed female lab mix, weighing around 50 lbs. She is just an all around happy girl who loves all people and loves dogs too!

It’s not often we see a Pointer come into rescue, so when we got the call to save this little boy DRAKO, we scooped him right up-he is precious!
DRAKO is a 3 month old male German Shorthaired Pointer we believe. He was rescued from the south LA shelter noticeably underweight. He has been thriving in his foster home that is very breed experienced and pampering him daily with good food, lots of attention and the love he’s been craving.
DRAKO is a typical Pointer with lots of curiosity, playful energy and smart, smart, smart. He is very affectionate too and loves to be with his humans. Also- talk about stunningly handsome! 😍

Dear P4P village,

One of our own, Jona, needs help.

Jona and her 3 siblings came to us when they were just 6 weeks old. All of the other pups have been adopted, but Jona has remained in our care as we explored a suspected congenital heart condition she may have. Last week, our fears were confirmed- Jona saw a heart specialist who indicated she has a level 5+ (almost a 6 grade) heart murmur- as well as pulmonary valve stenosis which is a dangerously severe condition. Without immediate surgery, Jona’s heart could stop at anytime. Jona is essentially is a ticking time bomb.

The good news is her condition has a 90 plus % success rate and a normal life expectancy afterwards. BUT.. as you can guess it is not cheap.
Even as a rescue where doctors work to give us a discount, it will still cost us $5,000 to save Jona’s life.

For this 6 month old puppy whose life is just beginning, she deserves that chance to live a full life.

We know this is a busy and costly time for everyone during the holidays, but if you have any funds to send her way, nothing is too small. Please if you can, donate for little Jona- she needs help and we want to get her everything she needs.

🌺FLOWER🌺 is coming along nicely in her foster home and loving her new toys! Flower is 3 yr old female purebred Doberman, recently rescued from the Riverside shelter with some unfortunate cuts and wounds she is healing from.
