Her professional animal experience includes working as a Pet Groomer, Bather, Veterinary Assistant and Pet Sitter. st and has offered classes for canine massage. She has also been active in dog rescue and three of her own dogs were rescue dogs. Michelle's own dog family consists of Dennis, her pug, Fae, a shy terrier mix, Cheerio, a two legged longhair Chihuahua who uses a cart to get around and Coney a Chinese Crested she adopted as a senior. She also has a cheeky cat named Possum. Colette Posadas
Colette has been with Fluff Dog Grooming since the business was opened. She has been grooming for over 20 years and is a well respected poodle handler and breeder. While she specializes in toy and miniature poodles she loves all breeds of dogs. Her hobbies are dog shows, music festivals and spending time with her husband Mark. Colette works Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays by appointment only. Vicki Ronchette
Vicki has been grooming dogs since 1990 and working in the pet industry since her teens. Vicki has worked as a dog trainer and behavior consultant, groomer, veterinary assistant and dog walker. Vicki competes in dog sports with her dogs and she is the founder and lead instructor of Show Dog Prep School, an online school for training and presenting show dogs. Vicki works on Mondays and Thursdays and specializes in senior and fearful dogs.

Heather L. We have a gentle, careful touch with animals and while we enjoy working with all dogs, we have a soft spot for senior dogs and dogs that are shy, fearful or sensitive. Our goal is to build a relationship with her client dogs so that they feel safe and comfortable with us. We are committed to grooming, handling and managing your dog with compassion and care and uses positive reinforcement methods to help dogs that are fearful or stressed with grooming. Michelle is a member of the Pet Professional Guild (PPG) which is the Association for Force Free Pet Professionals.

When trimming a dog's nails you want to avoid clipping the quick. We do our best to avoid clipping the quick and for this reason your dog's nails may be longer than you had hoped after a nail trim. The good news is that regular nail trims can help to draw that quick back. And, we offer nail trims a'la carte, so you may choose to bring your dog in for nail trims in between regular grooming appointments.

Some breeds such as Pomeranians have a double coat. These coats have a longer coarse outer coat and a soft short undercoat. When these coats are clipped short the hair may never grow back the same way. We have many customers that request this and we will do these trims, however we make sure the client knows that choosing to clip these dogs may permanently affect the texture and amount of coat.

Just a reminder that if your dog's coat is matted or heavily knotted we may have to clip the coat off short. This is because the coat must be fully combed out to do a clip longer than 1/2" long.

If your dog comes in for grooming with mats or knots in their coat, we may not be able to brush the dog out. We will not cause unnecessary pain or discomfort dematting dogs. In some cases, it may be necessary to trim the coat short and start over.

Our state-of-the-art TheraClean system is great for dogs with itchy skin, oily skin and dry skin. Without soap or shampoo, the system uses millions of tiny bubbles to deep clean your dog's skin and coat.

This is Django, a hairless Chinese Crested whose skin tends to be oily. The only thing we have found to effectively clean his skin is the TheraClean.

The process takes about 20 minutes. A plastic tub is filled with warm water and the dog is placed in the tub. As one nozzle creates bubbles around the dog's legs and other submerged areas, the hand held wand goes over the areas that are not underwater. Most dogs tend to enjoy the process and relax into it. Some even fall asleep while we do it!

Talk to your groomer about a TheraClean treatment if you feel it could be beneficial to your dog.

Over the counter supplements can be beneficial to your dog. For instance, a calming chew may help your dog for stressful events (like grooming appointments;), an omega oil may ease your dog's dry skin, an ointment made for dry noses may help with that.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand new Thera-Clean machine! This state of the art machine uses micro bubbles to clean dogs in a way that shampoo just can't. This experience allows the dog to soak in a tub with micro bubbles circulating all around the dog. A wand is used on areas not submerged in the tub. Our Thera-Clean micro bubble cleaning is perfect for dogs: -that have skin allergies -skin conditions of all kinds -with extremely oily skin The micro bubble bath is also great for dogs who suffer from arthritis, inflammation and other body aches and pains. Micro Bubble Cleaning treatment is an add-on service for $25 (for most dogs) in addition to your grooming price. Note that the price may be higher for very large dogs who require more time.
