Dear SLDTC Trial Competitors,

We are writing to inform you that the location on the Cal State East Bay campus for the Fremont, San Mateo and San Lorenzo Trials on September 28-29, 2024, has been changed. The new lawn is on the Southwest corner of campus, in front of Meiklejon Hall (MI bldg. on map), and shaped like Idaho on its side. There is plenty space for fully shaded crating under the MI bldg (~25 yds from corner of the lawn area), however you cannot see the Rings from the crating area. There is a bathroom down around to the right as you look at that building as well as another bathroom upstairs and inside, to the left. It is true that this new location has no shade over any portion of the lawn area. There is also another lawn just in front of MI that can be used for crating if you choose to bring your own EZ-up for shade and do not want to crate under the building on the cement. We ask that there be no crating on the lawn area we are using for the rings.

New Directions to trial:
From Oakland Area, Take Highway 580 Eastbound to Hayward and exit on the Hayward exit.
Continue on Foothill Blvd into downtown Hayward. Turn right onto “A” Street, two blocks, left
onto Mission Blvd for several blocks. Turn left onto Carlos Bee Blvd, go up hill, and stay to the
far right to enter the campus. At stop sign, turn right on West Loop Road and proceed towards Parking Lot B. Turn right into Lot B (Staff Parking).
From San Jose Area, take Hwy 880 North to Hayward. Exit on the Jackson Street exit
eastbound. Turn right at first signal onto Santa Clara which becomes Harder Road. Follow
Harder to campus. Turn Left onto West Loop Road. Park in Lot B (Staff Parking) is the first lot on the left.
From SF Peninsula, take the San Mateo Bridge (Hwy 92) east to Hayward. Continue past the
intersection with Hwy 880. Turn right at first signal onto Santa Clara which becomes Harder
Road. Follow Harder to campus. Turn Left onto West Loop Road. Park in Lot B (Staff Parking) is first lot on the left.
