We are a non-profit animal rescue, No-Kill shelter and adoption organization that relies on YOUR donations to house feed and medically care for the dogs and cats taken in our adoption program. We are not operated or funded by any national animal group and must rely on contributions from people like you to keep our shelter open. All financial contributions and in-kind donations are tax deductible.

Every morning Ozarka finds a bell ball and chases and carries it all around the cattery while we are cleaning. She starts every day off having the time of her life!! We could all learn a little something from Ozarka!! 😻

Ozarka is one of our longest cattery residents. 🥺 She’s been here just over a year and we don’t know why. She is the absolute sweetest and definitely entertaining!! Sunday vibes 😎

Queso has Entropion which is a medical condition in which the eyelid folds inward. We clean and l**e his eyes as often as he will allow us!! 😅 He can see perfectly fine and loves to chase the laser pointer…or whatever rolls across the floor. 😹 He enjoys wrestling and cuddling with kittens!! 😻 He is a volunteer (and staff) favorite…don’t tell the others!! 🤫

🐾🦴Champ is a fun loving dog with a personality as big as his ears—seriously, they could be goal posts for a football team! He loves chasing toys and, in true Champ fashion, will toss them in the air with pure joy. His playful nature shines when he’s with other dogs, always eager for fun. But he also has an affectionate side; and when you want to chill he’ll happily settle by your feet, content to chew on his favorite toy while staying close. Champ’s playful nature and loving heart make him a perfect friend to have by your side.💕🐕

Fundraising opportunity! We are seeking to upgrade our Kurunda beds. It has been over a decade since we last purchased new beds for our dogs, and they are in dire need of replacement.

We are fortunate to have a donor who is willing to match $6,000!
These funds will be used exclusively for the purchase of 50 brand-new beds for our dogs. Additionally, any funds raised will contribute to the dogs' nutrition and care, as we go through approximately 40 bags of food each month, along with kongs, and other things that enrich the lives of our shelter animals.

We deeply care for our dogs and want to express our gratitude to them this year. As you can see in the attached photo, Lottie would greatly appreciate a bed that is no longer broken so she can get a goodnights sleep!

⚾️🐶Our ball loving boy, Buddy, likes frisbees too! This boy is into playing catch and should have been a baseball player. He’s a true utility player capable of playing outfield, infield, and short stop. He’s not picky about his toy either: tennis ball, frisbee, squeaky toy, he’ll chase them all and bring them back. Buddy is focused on the game! The hot weather doesn’t slow him down either.
