Here we have some gorgeous engineer goby. Something to keep in mind about these beautiful fish is that they got their common name ‘engineer’ for a reason. How does a Sea Star move? Also, sea stars move by using tiny tube feet called podia, located on the underside of their bodies. Tube feet also help sea stars hold their prey. Usually, fluid fills and empties the podia at random to slide the starfish forward! ⭐️

The emperor angelfish shows a marked difference between the juveniles and the adults. The juveniles have a dark blue body, which is marked with concentric curving lines, alternating between pale blue and white with the smallest, which are completely enclosed within each other located posteriorly. (Shown in this video) They will eventually change into the color you know formally, as seen on an adult angelfsh!

Here at Tropics, we have a lovely variety of anemones. Why not grab some clownfish with some anemone? Did you know that the symbiotic relationship between an anemone and a clownfish is a classic example of two organisms benefiting the other? The anemone provides the clownfish with protection and shelter, while the clownfish provides the anemone nutrients in the form of waste while also scaring off potential predator fish. Sounds like a great pair to us!
