I would like to thank everyone who has been donating to Crone Wolf Medicine... we have reached $645.00 of our $4500.00 goal and this has helped with dog food, kept the generator that runs the well pump running for their water filled with gas, and a Vet visit. We still have 3 spays and 6 neuters left out of the 32 Wolf Dogs here so we are steadily moving toward our goal of 100%. We also need to build 6 more dog houses as they are very hard on them and are always in need of repair or rebuilding and we need to construct new wind guards around a few of the pens. Your generosity touches me deeply and fills my heart with gratitude! ❤️

I would like to thank the last 6 people who donated to Crone Wolf Medicine. I wanted to thank you each personally but the that function wasn't working on GoFundMe this morning. Your donation means a lot and will go a long way to get things ready for next Winter that we need to start now believe it or not....Winters c are hard up in the Canyon. So thankyou again!

My beautiful girl Igasho. One day her gorgeous golden eyes were shining bright as the sun and the next day were covered with a silvery gray film and she was blind and scared. I got her into the Vet who said it was rapid onset Glaucoma, probably hereditary. I was told the blood in her eyes was due to the membranes behind her eyes having ruptured and regular courses of action, including eye drops would not work at this point. I was also informed it causes great pain that is constant to the animal. I could not allow her to remain as she was, terrified, in pain and confused so I made the only compassionate choice available to me and held her in lap, kissing her beautiful face, thanking her for being in my life, and letting her know just how much she is and will always be loved as released, she ran free across the rainbow Bridge. ​I miss her every day as does her bond mate, Gyft. She was the best girl, a gentle, sensitive, smart and often funny Wolfen.

Crone Wolf Medicine is licensed with PACFA through the state of Colorado, Rescue/Shelter for Wolf Dogs that have been surrendered to get the care and love that they need and deserve. It is run by Charlene Wolfe in Saguache County in Southern Colorado. At this time it is filled to capacity with 34 Wolf Dog rescues. Up to now Charlene has done well with spays and neuter on her own, there are 3 females and 6 males that still need this procedure. These animals are never sold or bred.

We are asking for gifts of any amount to fund the acquisition of materials for building of new dog houses (they destroy their Igloos), acquiring supplies and food in preparation and storage for next Winter, and maintenence/repairs including creating new wind barriers around their pens as this past Winter was extremely harsh and took a devastating toll on pretty much everything.

Our goal is $4,500, every little bit counts and there is immense gratitude for any gifts received.

Waya, Bella and Rarity...Just 3 of the girls here at Crone Wolf Medicine Wolf Dog Rescue/Shelter...I try to give all of them living here in-house time as part of their socialization. Rarity, my golden girl is available for adoption. She is very loving, still a bit rambunctious which comes with being a Wolf Dog.

My previous contributing partner passed away from Covid related pneumonia New Years Day. Stella and Treasure...Stella has been here for quite some time and is ready for her forever home. She is very loving and interactive...loves to play! Treasure is a big boy who holds back a bit. He is also very loving but needs a strong person who can see into his character and work with him appropriately. Both are LC Wolf Dogs and available for adoption.

Grey Cloud, currently available for adoption, and Isabella my in house LC with Husky, enjoying playtime together. As you can see we are in a beautiful natural environment. These shelter Wolf Dogs, quite a few ready for adoption, get plenty of good clean air and loads of exercise. Posting this so anyone potentially interested in adopting Grey Cloud can see how she gets along with another dog.

Ragnar (on the left) and Soul Puddin'...Soul Puddin' did go to Oregon but her adoptee canceled on us at the last minute. This was about a year ago. She has been to dog parks and the beach. Both have been " in house" but prefer to go in and out a lot! This is a strongly bonded pair, spayed and neutered. I am working with them now and they should be ready to go to their new home in about 2 months. I prefer they go as a pair. They would need a home with no other dogs, proper containment and someone with previous Wolf Dog experience to understand and work with their character and nature. Ragnar was recovering from his neutering here so wasn't quite up to s***f yet!

Working with Amity and Magic in the playground area, however, as my "wild pair" they will take some time to be ready for adoption. They are still skittish around strangers and easily startled. They are slowly making progress...they love me but are wary of stangers. Perhaps they will be ready for a new home next Spring/Summer. That is Vesta in the background. She is Anatolian Shepard with GSD and Grey Wolf.

Tyke will always live here! I noticed his back hu**ed up in an odd way so I asked the Vet to do a few x-raysa. Turns out he has no hip sockets for his ball joints. She has never seen anything like this before! However he runs like the wind and does not appear to be in pain.

Grey Cloud was the runt in her litter. At 3 1/2 years old she is still petite but makes up for size with energy and personality. I have been working with her for some time to prep her for her perfect Human who will be revealed when that person who wants to learn, understand and love her character and nature shows up!

Gyft is in process of becoming acclimated to his new Human. He is doing very well, is excited every time Eli comes to work with him and has been outstanding in his halter and command training. A pre-requisite of adoption here is coming to be with the animal regularly for an extended period of time so Wolf Dog and potential new Human can get to know one another, work together and bond to insure a good fit through learning one another's character and insuring a definite compatibility.
