Our July camp at Sunny Fox Farms LLC exceeded expectations! From decorating horse shoe picture frames, to homemade horse treats, and of course RIDING🐴, this group accomplished many of their functional goals while making lasting memories

It was such a beneficial experience getting to attend the PATH region 8 conference with these ladies! We gained lots of new and innovative ideas to incorporate into our rider’s sessions this Fall!

We are packing this summer full of fun and hard work despite the unpredictable Texas weather! From sunny trail rides to rainy day tail braiding!

This sweet client brought along her favorite book this week and we wanted to be sure to share it with everyone! From Head to Toe is a fun story about different animals moving their bodies in different ways. As we read, we walked on our horse and moved our bodies any way that the book described. It was such a fun idea for stretching and really encouraged this rider to sit tall and look ahead!

Horses can provide us with the stability, strength, and confidence that our bodies sometimes struggle with on the ground. What an amazing gift of independence they give us!

We are so looking forward to hosting our summer camp at Sunny Fox Farms LLC this July! Four Fridays in a row, for two hours of horse fun and personal development. Camp will be lead by a PATH instructor with 1:1 volunteer ratios. Spots are limited, but open to all ages. Applications can be found on our website 🐴☀️🌻

This month marks ONE WHOLE YEAR of Stride & Strength Therapeutic Horseback Riding!

From the riders and families, to the volunteers and horse partners, our hearts are bursting at the seams with what this year has accomplished.

Tandem rides!
Tandem rides are when an instructor rides simultaneously with the rider in order to provide upper body (head, neck, and trunk) support if needed. This type of session also allows for further passive range of motion stretches and control in the event of spasticity. These rides are always packed with fun, as you can clearly see!
