As we head into the summer with plenty of celebrations, we want to remind our community of best practices when harvesting ʻopihi! By establishing ʻopihi rest areas and best harvesting practices, we give ʻopihi time to grow and reproduce to replenish populations down current from the rest area. When ʻopihi are closer together, they make more keiki! The good news is ʻopihi reproduce about every 6 months, so try wait and let ʻopihi rest to make bigger, more abundant ʻopihi!

We are excited to share these resources developed by Nā Mamo O Mūʻolea, Kīpahulu ʻOhana, and Dr. Chris Bird of Texas A&M University Corpus Christi.

From KAUHI BUILT BULLDOG LINE-Hoping one of our amazing Bulldogs-Customers Only members or even a family/friend will be interested in giving this incredible girl a forever home! We were hoping to keep her ourselves but she just doesn’t have great communication skills with another dog in the home so will need to be the only dog. She is so sweet, happy, and loving with all humans including children! She did great with our 18 month old grandbaby and every person she met! She has so much great groundwork already laid. Housebroken, kennel trained, walks like a dream on a leash, sit, lay down, place, high five, etc etc. She loves the water and did great with being introduced to the pool! She literally just wants someone to play with and love on her and we’re heartbroken it didn’t work out with our boy. So if you or someone you know that would give her a loving and safe home is interested please message me or Chel Ewald. We just want the best for her!

***UPDATE- Tunder has to be the only dog!***Hey everyone, we have a pup that is looking for a new couch. She is a year old, potty trained, knows her basic commands and is great around children. Only down side is she doesn’t get along with her current dog sister. She will possibly need to be the only dog. She is located in Chandler. Photos in the comments.
