If you have not mailed in your ballot please consider nominating me for District 6 Director.

My main goal for ADGA is members first. I will be available to all District members to discuss and help with issues.

We need to generate interest for new and young people to join ADGA. New members also need guidance when joining. As a new member a few years ago I was lost in The ADGA shuffle. I would like to see a mentor program for every district.

I will work to make our website easier , and available on a consistent basis. I know this is a major issue. One thing that may surprise you about me is in my 20's I worked at a Fortune 500 company , Fluor Daniel Engineering, in the network room. I was one of 5 responsible for maintaining and supporting over 30 servers that over 3000 employees worked on locally and 40,000 employees world wide.

Performance programs should be made more accessible to everyone, genetics and management are proven thru milk test and linear appraisal.

New technologies are available and ADGA needs to move forward using social media to reach its members with information and assistance. Facebook and Twitter are free so let's use them.

These are just a few items on my agenda.

We are fortunate that most of us live in a area with quality alfalfa in abundant supply. I work with a grower and have for the last 5 years. Dan Hardison has taken good care of my goats and is a willing supplier of alfalfa. Dan always gets hay to me on same day , is willing and able to swap a squeeze if it's not quite right and always picks out his best for my goats. Dan will ship semis to surrounding states and across the country. PM me for his number. Nothing makes milk than a quality alfalfa!!
