So here in Arizona and Nevada hot weather is upon us. One of the biggest concerns I have is dogs must wear paw booties to protect their feet from hot pavement. I’ve seen so many dogs get their pads burnt without owners realizing what’s going on especially those new to Arizona. So, please be careful with your pups and don’t leave them outside in the back yard for any length of time. You’re not in Kansas anymore Dorothy! 🌵🥵😡🔥

I hope everyone is staying safe and well and those of you that can are getting the vaccine. Its already been a year, can you believe that. Everyone's world has been changed upside down even our dog's life.
Our dogs are so used to having both me and Paula at home this past year I dread the day if all ever goes back to normal whatever that was.
For now its fine but we have recently started to set standards round the house, not leavu=ing the back door open all the time and them coming and going at their leisure. Gates being closed so they are limited to kitchen and family room.
How are you continuing as we move forward into this vaccine herd future with hopefully more ability to get out and about?

Happy Hump Day everyone, a holiday weekend always throws me off a little but the one good thing about this week is that here in Arizona we had a couple of cooler day. So needed. I hope all this crazy heat and covid19 crap isn’t getting to you all. I wish I lived nearer a lake or the beach as I did growing up. Dogs had so much fun.

With all that is upon us I pray everyone is doing well. Quick update, our girl Arya (5 years old) had what appeared to a blocked tear duct or so I thought. It turns out she has dry eye. Having never thought much about dry eye as a disease I was shocked to find out just how serious it is. Poor Arya will now be on meds and eye cream for evermore. There is no cure and if you don't keep up on the meds the condition can get worse and the dog will end up blind. It's something for all of us to watch out for in all breeds.
