We had Cathie Hatrick Anderson here last week for groundwork lessons with five horses and handlers. Everyone saw great improvements and we look forward to having her back soon! Here is Banks, one of our newest rescues, getting some work in before being backed this winter.

Patch Wood is participating in the Festival of Trees in Sandown on December 6th. All proceeds go to Sandown Food Pantry.

Does anyone have any festive decorations, lights or small horse related items we can add to the tree?

If you have anything you would like to add please let me know or drop off to the farm by Dec 1.

We are enjoying our time at the Equine Affaire! Tapley and Vienna are here now. Dublin and Mocha arrive for clinics on Sunday and we have a farm family outing to Fantasia tonight. Come say hi if you see us.

We had an awesome time at our first IEA show last weekend in Maine. We had great rides and lots of points were collected towards our year end goals. Our middle school team was champion and our high school team reserve champion.
Congrats to our riders and we are looking forward to the next one.

We are hiring! Seeking an assistant barn manager that also can help with our small dog boarding program. Part time hours available with a flexible schedule. Dory is a 16h 18 year old Perch Cross that is looking for her new trail riding partner. She is as quiet as they come on the trails but will still happily move along when asked. She is the horse I put my less experienced riders on for the trails and she always take care of her rider. She is happy to go out alone and with others, in the back or the front of the group. She will entertain a bit of ring work but can have some mild opinions about it. She is happiest exploring the trails and beach and popping over the occasional log. She is a dream to work around and is great with other horses. She stands nicely for the farrier, clips, trailers and ties like a pro. She is only available to the perfect home that will stay in touch with us. Mid 4s.

**Monty has found his family**
Monty! Monty is our 4H rescue pony this year, and he is looking for his forever home. Monty is a hackney cross in his late teens, a classic bay gelding with a heart of gold. He stands at 13 hh and was a former Amish cart pony. He stands perfectly for grooming, bathing, vet and dentist and loads like a dream. Sound and utd. He has been ridden by our smaller 4H members ba****ck with a halter, as well as tacked with saddle and bridle. He is comfortable walking and trotting, and takes amazing care of all that ride him. Low 4 carrots, he is in Sandown NH.
