We are always so excited when our pigs perform well in the show ring. BUT, the true joy comes in the form of kids excelling in a sport they love.

Today was a fun one!!

Third in her prospect class at a show this big is a big deal for our small little farm. We are so very proud of this girl and the work she’s already putting in with this little guy. Should be a fun one to keep an eye on this summer 💕💕💕

Sadly, pig breeding is always a rollercoaster. This girl did not have the farrowing we had hoped for. She had one piglet but it didn’t survive 😥 so 13 piglets in the barn is all we are going to have this year.

Yep, we are still at it. All 13 babies are going strong and growing so fast! Counting down the days until our last sow hits the crate! 12 days to go….

We had a couple of cute tiny human visitors in the barn today. Our daughter Ellesyn (she’s almost 3) brought two of her friends from dance to visit the babies and they weren’t quite sure about all the squealing but did great considering all the new nosies and smells 🤣🤣

PS the horses are always a barn favorite. Maybe Amber and Leticia will have cowgirls in their future.
