We have officially moved into our home in North Idaho and we are loving it! Our mountain dogs now live in the mountains and they’re not sad about it either. 😉
DAWSON
Green collar (Hulk)
I’m pretty sure she’s wondering if it’s bed time yet. 😂
I’ve got to brag on these babies for a minute. They are starting to really prefer to go poop and potty outside! We’ve gotten into a pretty good routine of eat, play, sleep, with a couple play and sleep sessions in between meals. They go from the weaning pen inside, out the door and straight to the grass to relieve themselves! (Most of the time 😉)
They try so hard to sit when they approach me… they never know when they’ll get a little treat!
And they’re coming pretty consistently to the “puppies come” call!
They are such smart and eager pups! Love them!!
I’ve gotten pretty good at calling them their new names but sometimes I forget. It’s Snickers not Rocket!
I’m pretty sure MY puppy, Clover, is going to miss the puppies more than they’ll miss us! She loves playing with the pups and they love her. It’s so fun to watch them all learn dog behavior from each other! It is an absolutely beautiful fall day and we’re all enjoying some outside time!
I didn’t label everyone in this one. See if you can figure out who is who! I can tell if I’m looking at their faces but if it’s just the tail and the heads are down it’s a little tricky!
I don’t believe there is anything quite as adorable as puppies in slow motion! So here’s a little treat for you!
As promised…. Puppies playing! They’re still so uncoordinated and it is so funny to watch!
This has been quite the week for the pups! Lots of change and new things!
• They moved into a bigger weaning pen.
• They are all walking now!
• They ditched the ribbons and now have collars!
• They have officially began potty training and are doing wonderfully!
• They finished their last day of ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation.
Early Neurological Stimulation can only be done from days 3-16 in a puppy’s life. There are five main benefits of it that are crucial to the success of your pup.
1. Improved Cardiovascular performance
2. Stronger heart beats
3. Stronger adrenal glands
4. MORE TOLERANCE TO STRESS
5. Greater resistance to disease.
The health benefits alone are enough to do this essential practice in the beginning of their life. I really love the fact that they gain more tolerance to stress. This world we live in and expect our dogs to live in with us, is not made for them. There are a lot of things that can stress a dog. Giving them the ability to overcome stress quickly paves the way for a more enjoyable life for your pup and you!
