HEY HORSE FRIENDS! Jesse Leen is hosting a Greg Robinson clinic July 13 and 14, 2024 focusing on reining and/or ranch versatility - it will depend what the participants want. Jesse has wanted to host him forever and due to a cancellation in his schedule the chance has come.

UPDATE: HE IS WILLING TO DO JULY 12 TOO IF YOU WANT EXTRA HELP GETTING READY FOR SPOTS OF FUN! ALSO INCLUDING GOING TO THE SHOW FOR THE ONES PARTICIPATING AND HELPING COACH THROUGH!!

Greg is an 11 time APHA World Champion in Ranch Versatility. Greg prioritizes trust and encourages the smallest amount of try in the horse. He rides with only 5 riders at a time per 5 hour session. He keeps the numbers small to ensure personal attention. He works with each horse and rider at their levels and builds them up from there. He tries to to help riders truly realize that great horsemanship is something they can achieve.

Horses are my best teachers and are great communicators, they communicate through intention and body language. Humans normally communicate by what we say instead of intention and body language so in order to help understand how they feel in the moment we have to slow down and zoom out and watch the horses entire body.

Goodbyes are never easy💕

Thank you to my first horse who has endless patience, willing to let me learn from you and all my mistakes. Thank you for letting me save you when you really saved me. Thank you for all the challenges you have taught me and opened up all of the possibilities. Thank you for teaching me how to be tough and how hard work pays off. Thank you for helping me face my fears and being the best listener. Thank you for teaching me to never give up on my dreams even when it wasn’t easy. Thank you for challenging me in so many ways but still took take of me.
This week I had to lay my first horse to rest I got to experience 18 years of my horsemanship journey with her. When i saw her I knew I needed her as much as she needed me , she was skinny very weak looked defeated and lifeless. I was told prior to seeing her she was very broke “ kid safe “ a couple months after getting help with rehabbing her I was so excited for my first ride , this very lifeless old horse became very spirted and bright she had other ideas other then me being on her back and she got me off her quite regularly.
I had the opportunity to take her to a few clinics every clinician that got on her i don’t think a single one of them had an enjoyable time. I watched many training DVDs nothing seemed to work. I started to take my time in listening to her was willing to be patient and enjoy the small moments. I ended up riding that old white horse all over the mountains into the lake and she would follow me as I rode my bike around the neighborhood. She has giving me so many unforgettable memories and I wouldn’t trade this very stubborn miss understood mare for any other first horse as coming 43 this year she lived a very long happy life and i am so
