Incredible dog work today from this crew! Pete, Blue Major and Birch. Left to right. Blue nailed a point that produced a true double for me, and I watched in awe as 3 more grouse rocketed over me with an empty gun.

Final day for us in MN before the deer opener. Blue and Uno continue to show they know how to find em! Perfect conditions now, hopefully the snow will hold off a little while longer.

…”I’m sure where he lives is just a fine, freshening walk from an alder bottom where the woodcock fly like bats at sundown, and the surrounding gentle hills are salt and peppered with birch and spruce trees, and there within live the Lord’s own pet flock of grouse.”

After pointing and holding for a 5 bird flush, Uno and I were lucky enough to witness the twilight sky dancing of 20ish woodcock. October 10th.

The Minnesota Environment and Natural Resources Trust Fund (ENRTF) has helped Pheasants Forever improve and enhance more than 45,000 acres of habitat annually in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and this year, it is on your ballot!

Minnesota continues to be one of America’s top outdoor recreation destinations, thanks to visionary citizens, like you, who invest in natural resources.

The ENRTF is a constitutional amendment approved by Minnesota voters in 1988 which has dedicated funds from the Minnesota State Lottery - for three decades - to projects that conserve and protect our water, land, and wildlife.

Funding via the ENRTF will sunset at the end of 2024 unless a majority of Minnesotans vote YES to renew this important conservation effort for another 25 years. Now is the time to be an informed voter ahead of casting your ballot; keep in mind that leaving the ballot measure blank will be counted as a NO vote.

First birthday for the Wick/Copper litter! Nothing but great reports on these wonderful Setters! If we get enough interest from hunter companion homes, we are considering a repeat breeding. UNO and Blue did incredible today on their birthday moving 16 grouse and 4 woodcock. Some fantastic recoveries. Beautiful to watch everything click!

We're looking for 2 perfect hunting companion homes for these two blue Belton males. I'm willing to deliver depending on location. Please private message for details. They will be 9 weeks old this Thursday (Dec 28th)and although they are incredible, I can't keep them all.

After missing out on the bulk of the season, while raising her Litter, Wick got to get out today! We moved 6 grouse and she nailed a point producing a 3 bird flush! Here are a few pics from this afternoon. So thankful for the 32 degrees, and no snow.

6 weeks old, time flies! We went on first car ride to vet today. Everyone did great, this has been a very special litter!

Wick brought 7 beautiful, healthy puppies into the world on October 26th. 2 weeks old today. We're excited to watch them develop in the coming weeks!
