"After the fire we didn’t know what was going to happen. We were shut down for seven months, and every week I’d post an update on social media, dreading it because I still didn’t have answers. Insurance was dragging its feet, and I was trying so hard to stay positive for our community, even when I didn’t feel positive myself.

But every time I posted, the responses would leave me in tears—the good kind. People told us how much they loved us, how they were rooting for us, and how they couldn’t wait for us to reopen. It was like the community we’d built over the years turned around and carried us through one of the hardest times of our lives.

When we finally reopened, it was overwhelming. There was a line out the door for six weeks straight—not just on Saturdays, but every day. We’d go home exhausted, but we’d also feel this deep gratitude. It was like the whole town was saying, ‘We missed you.’ And let me tell you, that feeling made every struggle worth it.”
