This is interesting!! I supplement choline specifically because it’s so hard to get it in Whole Foods besides eggs. This is why feeding 80/10/10 doesn’t always work the micronutrients matter!! If you’re feeding a homemade recipe be sure you are meeting all the macro and micros to avoid things like this.

We offer nutrition consults if your interesting in feeding your dog a homemade diet sign up on our website :

Pancreatitis ranges from subclinical to fatal, and is usually blamed on dietary fat, yet so many animals on ultra low-fat diets live with chronic pancreatitis. 🤔

Today at noon ET on the Inside Scoop we're talking all things pancreatitis AND why all raw diets aren't equal. Plus our ebook guide with low fat recipes, supplement, and tips for acute and chronic pancreatitis.

Comment with SCOOPERS, and we'll send you a link to join our subscription group and watch today’s episode. Plus you'll get access to over 5 years' previous episodes, expert interviews, ebook downloads, and more!

Meet our Foster Boomer! A Fully On & Off Leash Trained, Loyal Companion looking for a new family to love!

Looking for a dog who’s already mastered the basics and ready to fit into a quiet, loving home? Boomer is your perfect match! Boomer has been through our program and for the last few weeks brushed up on his skills as our foster dog. He comes fully trained both on and off leash, with continued support from us!

About Boomer:
* Age: 6
* Breed: Aussiepoo
* Temperament: Gentle, calm, and well-mannered

* Skills: On and off leash trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, is very social, and has excellent recall. He is very ball motivated and enjoys a game of fetch! Boomer does well with most dogs and children. He has been cat tested and passed.

* Ideal Home: Boomer lived a quiet, slow-paced life with his elderly owner, who is now in a nursing home. We believe he would thrive in a similar peaceful environment, but we’re open to any loving home that can provide the care he deserves.

Additional Support:
* Lake Erie Dogs is offering lessons to Boomer’s new owner so they can fully understand and continue the training that Boomer and his former owner invested in.
* Boomer is welcomed back for life for boarding, daycare, and any consulting help his new owner may need.
* He is already established with a vet and a groomer in the Sandusky/Milan area and is up to date on all necessary vaccines.

Boomer is a true gem—loyal, easygoing, and adaptable. We’re committed to finding the best match for him and will be selective to ensure his next chapter is just as comfortable as his last.

To apply to adopt Boomer please visit Lakeeriedogs.com schedule a time and fill out an application form!

We look forward to seeing his new owner enjoy the companionship of a well-trained, affectionate dog who will fit seamlessly into your life.

🎉 As we wrap up our Month of Play, (a few days late) let’s remember one key takeaway: your dog’s favorite thing to play with should be YOU! Sure, toys are fun, but the real magic happens when you become the center of their playtime.

Think of it this way—you’re not just the person who throws the ball; you’re the one who turns it into an exciting game! Whether it’s a competitive game of tug, playing chase and stalk in the backyard, or a scent and search game with their favorite treat the bond you build through play is priceless. But here’s the challenge: find the balance between some special activity that lights up your dog’s eyes, and something personal that goes beyond play.

This kind of play is an invaluable reward you always have in your back pocket. It’s not just about keeping your dog entertained—it’s about creating moments of joy that strengthen your connection. So, even when the toys are put away, the fun doesn’t stop because your dog knows the best part of playtime is you.

Keep the fun going, and thanks to everyone who participated in our Month of Play! 🐾

We had over 20 entry’s for our challenge and were excited to announce Max and his owner Shawn were randomly picked for the $50 gift card to a well deserved winner!!!

🎥 Doing things we love, with our dogs 🍿

Training your dog isn’t just about teaching commands—it’s about building a strong line of communication. It’s about practicing obedience, setting clear rules, and establishing boundaries. It’s about making the “yes” and “no” clear, and ensuring that what you ask of your dog happens. We set high expectations because we believe in the potential of both dogs and their owners.

Take Lucy, for example. Just a couple of months ago, she was in a shelter, struggling to find a permanent home due to her challenging behavior. But with dedication, consistency, and hard work—from her owner, from Lucy, and from our team—she’s come a long way.

This journey isn’t just about surviving; it’s about thriving together. Last night, Tom and Lucy enjoyed a drive-in movie at , a simple yet rewarding experience that might not have been possible without the commitment to training.

The bond formed through training doesn’t just benefit the dog; it enriches the lives of both the dog and owner, allowing for moments like these that make it all worthwhile

We had a visitor at daycare today!! Meet Miss Annie, she is a 1 year old 40 pounds of s***k. She is available for adoption at Humane Society of Erie County Ohio

She spent the day with us today to blow off some steam, find some zen and learn something new. We really enjoyed our time with her and the dogs at daycare enjoyed sniffing someone new!!

She is exactly what you would expect a young Pitbull to be she revs at a high RPM but is so willing to take direction. Annie did well working for food around other dogs, played tug with us right off the bat, and crated calmly after doing some drills.

Annie would make a great companion and we are very happy to help whomever adopts her, we are offering 15% off a board and train program to her new family.

Please share far and wide so this girl can find her home ❤️

Family Dog Training

We believe in creating a balanced relationship between owner and dog. The methods that we use revolve around balance and consistency. The success is shown through the work that we (owners and trainer together) put in.

We specialize in, off-leash remote collar training, which gives your dog a freedom most will never experience, but it all begins with treats and leash. We then use these tools as building blocks and aids to our success.

We are a positive first company which means we solidify all commands with positivity first. Giving owners a communication system that both you and your dog understand with a tool to back it all up.

We are always committed to going, the owner and the dogs, pace. That is why we offer unlimited support and do not put time restraints on individual lessons, or the amount of follow up and assistance, nor do we increase the cost of a board and train for extra needed time.
