Starting on August 1st, 2024, any puppies traveling to the USA must be at least 6 months old, per new USDA regulations. Effectively, this is the end of our ability to import puppies from Germany. Over the past 19 years, KvL has imported 136 puppies from Germany to the United States. Some of them became service dogs, some - police K9s, and some - legit movie stars! But most became the best family companions one can wish for. The end of an era... Here are the last 3 that we brought over this summer - Josie 💖, Kalou 💖, and Kamio 💖. Congratulations to their new families!!! 🎊🎊🎊 But do not fret, we're planning a fantastic breeding to take place in Germany in October, and the puppies will be born here in Atlanta, GA. Our fingers are crossed so tightly!!! 🤞😊🤞

Happy 13th Birthday, Wiva vom Zellwaldrand! 🥳🥳🥳 Wiva is the mother to our Sammy von Lotta, who is the mother to our Viva and Veronika von Lotta. It is such a privilege to be continuing this world class bloodline here in the USA! I first saw Wiva as an unruly youngster in a regional show in Germany, and I was speechless - her graceful beauty, movement, and attitude where out of this world, and I could not have been happier to have purchase and bring her to the USA with my partner and dear friend Michael Moon. She became the best young female in the US right off the plane, and then, the next year, the best female in the US (VA1!), and later on, V12 in the world show. Wiva is now living as a real queen she is in Michael and Lori's beautiful home.

2 weeks ago I had a pretty major emergency surgery and have been in the hospital ever since. I want to apologize for the lack of communication. I'm feeling better now, and should be going home very soon. 🙏 I will answer all emails and messages within the next couple of weeks. I appreciate your patience so much! 💓💓💓

Polina was born at my home in August 2011 and what a journey we had with her. We travelled all over the country to a dozen of shows. We trained in Schutzhund. She became the National Universal Siegerin in Franklin, TN, and won V3 at the GSDCA Sieger Show at Purina Farms in St. Louis, MO. She was my second dog to title in SchH and in May of 2014, almost 10 years ago, got her IPO1 title in Lexington, KY. She was high IPO1 with 90/87/87, and she was BHOT (breeder/handler/owner trained). She was the mom to 28 puppies total, - some of the most wonderful dogs in the world. Kind, stable, loyal, devoted. Just like Polina. After she retired from our breeding program 6 years ago, she went on to become a service dog, and travelled extensively, which has always been her favorite thing to do. Huge Congratulations to Elizabeth who has achieved IGP3 title last weekend with Moritz von Lotta!!! 🎊🎊🎊 Not only that, they got High Tracking and Second overall!!! They are a beautiful team, and, in Elizabeth's words, Moritz has such a loving to please spirit- he gives his heart and soul! 💖💖💖 Elizabeth's dedication to her dog, and the sport has paid of with this highest level of IGP title, and especially considering that Moritz is the first dog she has trained in SchH! I'm very proud to say that Moritz comes from a double von Lotta breeding of Polina von Lotta and Erastus von Lotta, from our "I" litter. Thank you Elizabeth, I can't express the gratitude I feel for your love and commitment to Moritz! 💖💖💖

The skies has gained a 4-legged angel today. Erastus von Lotta. 10/24/2013 - 12/21/2023. Rusty had the biggest heart and had many friends. He was my SchH dog, and we trained simply because both he and I loved interacting with each other. He didn't even need treats. He was a loyal and devoted frined to me, and for the several last years of his life to my dear friend Julia and her family. RIP Roo-Roo. 💔
