While it may not snow in Atlanta this year, it's good to be prepared for wintery weather! Here are some tips for you and your pet this winter season:
1. Bundle up-while your pup does have a natural fur coat, sometimes they need a little extra layer when it's super cold out. Invest in a nice sweater or coat for them!
2. Watch the weather! be prepared for changes in the weather, especially if you're out with your pet.
3. Protect their paws and use booties or socks for cold weather or snow.
4. Do not leave your pet in the car! Just like when it's hot out, your car also absorbs the cold and can act like a refrigerator.
5. Check under the hood-some pets will huddle underneath car hoods during the winter to get warm-and in some cases (looking at you kitties) they can get all the way inside!

It's super important that our furry friends get their teeth checked--it's just as important as having our own teeth checked. Regular dentals prevent diseases in pets, such as periodontal disease. Plus, bad doggy breath is no fun, and we never want our pets to be in pain.
