While we allow trainers to come in for lessons, we don't boast ourselves a training or show facility, to truly allow our boarders a pressure free environment to spend time with their horses.
Sales horse Atticus is doing a great job walk/trotting out of the round pen! Even taking on walking and trotting some singular poles and walking over baby cross rails for exposure. If you take your time with the young/green ones it’s always so rewarding how confident they are with new tasks🤩
Unfortunately the person we hired didn’t show so back at it again.
Brinnwood Farm in Sanford is looking for immediate full time help Monday - Thursday am/pm help and as as someone for sat pm and Sunday pm. This could be one singular person or two different hires. Typical hours are AM 8-11 and PM 3:30-7.
Bring your horse for stall or pasture board and apply your shifts to board if you’d like!
Hardest part is walking horses in and out (you definitely get your steps in). Looking for someone consistent and hardworking to help care for our group of lovely horses.
Duties include:
Dropping grain
Turning out or bringing in horses
Giving hay to stall horses
Filling/dumping out water buckets/troughs
Fly spraying/blanketing
Grain prep for the following feeding
Feeding of outside pastures horses
Each feeding is always partnered with another person, which can be divide and concurred or done together along the job!
Friendly and laid back barn atmosphere looking for a team player who is self motivated!

Meet Atticus, an adorable and super sweet 16h 2021 thoroughbred gelding. Jc name Count Amber he had a pretty unexciting go as a racehorse. No limitations and an easy going personality. Would make a fantastic lower level hunter! Bathes, ties, lunges, has been ridden but still very green. Hasn’t offered buck, rear, or kick outs while riding. He’s been a barn favorite and until an influx of boarding horses moving in and more to come we had no intentions on selling him this early but our loss if your gain! Located in Sanford, NC to the best of homes, priced in the lower fours.

Mary Von Werne Jones took two of her riders, Abby on her horse Ivy and Willow on her horse Prince, to Sedgefield and they had fantastic rounds and placed well!
This past Saturday Shayne Forester took his rider Charlotte on lease horse Tony and Tara Haywood took her rider Laila on lease horse Kay to Cool Breeze. Both riders had solid rides and ended on fabulous notes!
Over this past weekend two of Shayne’s riders had a fun trip down to the Carolina horse park for warhorse where Lyndsay on her horse Eclipse completed the full 3 phase event and Brittany on her horse splash had their first ever dressage show together with a great placing!

Hugo (Jc Informal) is officially available to a quality and knowledgeable home and is ready to have prospective buyers come try him. Hugo is also utd on spring vaccinations and just got his feet done so he’s ready to go😊 He is currently 4, turning 5 on May, 14th (2019 baby) Standing right around 17h and has the big bodied look we all love😍 Hugo is playful and athletic with a great personality, we think he would do best with a confident quiet rider in a structured program to continue his training. Would make a killer hunter or maybe even jumper/eventer. WTC undersaddle both English and western. Lunges, bathes, ties, stands for vet and farrier (simple shod all around), loads, and enjoys his time on the hot walker. Some updated videos available with a simple over fence video as well. Registered name URUGUAIO AGROSAM USDF number 1067842 is a 23 year old Lusitano gelding out of Fortunato do Xapuri. Uri is the epitome of age is just a number. This guy loves having a job and showing off!
Uri was imported from Brazil several years ago and has movements to the Prix St. George level. Does need to be integrated back into a full time program and has some quirks but overall an athletic and talented horse. Some maintenance but easy overall and extremely easy keeper. Does prefer stall life of the optional run out from a stall. Uri does best with a confident and capable rider who can be soft handed and direct with aids.
